What an amazing treasure on King Street in Charleston! So many wines, so little time! And the shareable plates are WOW!! Going back one more time before heading home. Kathryn (owner) and April (server extraordinaire) are so friendly and caring–we appreciate their amazing contribution to Mom’s birthday trip!

The food was a 10/10!!! Crab soup might have been the best I have ever had! Great place to stop for a glass of wine. Great date night. Prices were appropriate

We stumbled in on happy hour and we’re very surprised to find a completely empty restaurant! There’s a variety of seating options along with artistic takes on childhood games (see photos) along with a decent happy hour! I mean, $9 for select food items & craft cocktails + 15% off wine pours, where was everyone?!

My husband had the Unfashionable Meeting (it smelled really good but he ended up not loving the flavor) while I went the wine route. This was my first time at a wine bar where you got to have different pours of different types of wine and the bill can quickly multiply! I tried at least 4 before settling on a bigger pour of a Rosé.

As for food, we tried…
Goat Cheese Crostini–This was so so so good! Perfect blend of flavors! I’d come back just for this!
Meatball Marinara–the meatballs were a little salty for my liking
Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms–These seemed to be lacking but I’m not sure what. Maybe they just breed a little more balsamic glaze? I’d give them another try.

The other food on the menu sounded good as well, so we plan to return!

All the servers we talked to were friendly and helpful. We truly felt welcomed! Thank you!

Great little wine bar if you want to taste a lot of wines.
Good descriptions but not sommelier level service

The wine selection and concept is spectacular! You could do your own wine tastings if you wanted. There are 3 pour choices, so it makes it very easy and affordable to try out different wine. The charcuterie is top notch! The best in Charleston that I have found. The accompaniments go above and beyond. We have tried a couple of their entrees and plan to come again to try the others. Highly recommend trying this quaint spot!

As a wine lover, I was excited to stop in and try wine at Uncorked, but overall I was disappointed. The décor and atmosphere left something to be desired and felt like a miss. The music was also extremely loud for a Sunday afternoon, more like a club than a relaxed wine bar. It was the weekend before Christmas, and I was honestly expecting something festive rather than Pitbull playing at 4 p.m.

The wines themselves were honestly just fair at best. I also found the prices at the wine stations to be expensive, especially for one-ounce pours. We didn’t stay long and won’t be back.

I’m personally obsessed with Uncork and love to drag my friends in for happy hour. My last couple visits Rachel has taken care of us and done a superb job!!! By far my favorite wine bar in town. I love being able to taste an array of wines. Rachel gave us the best food recommendations and we ended up getting four orders of the mushrooms they were so good!! Be sure to stop in!

Definitely recommend for a very nice drink/dinner outing! The drinks were phenomenal and were very artistic. The food was also great, we ordered the stuffed mushrooms and meatballs. Definitely recommend. The only thing I will add is my chicken in the chicken piccata was dry but the other meals were very good.

I stopped by Uncork in Charleston for happy hour and really enjoyed the cute, casual vibe—such a cozy little spot to relax. I ordered a drink called The Drunken Duck (cutest name ever!), but sadly, it wasn’t for me. It was way too sweet and just didn’t taste balanced. I’d definitely come back to try something else though, because the ambiance and setting were lovely.
