The food was incredibly fresh and clearly not pre-made. We absolutely loved the California Omelet and the Berry & Ricotta Stuffed French Toast — both were delicious and beautifully prepared. The coffee was smooth and rich, and the whole meal left us feeling completely satisfied.
The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the friendly smile from our server really made a lasting impression (I’m so sorry I didn’t catch her name!).
They also have dedicated parking, which is such a thoughtful convenience for customers.
Overall, a wonderful experience — we’ll definitely be back!
From the outside … and honestly on the inside too, it’s very underwhelming. However, once you experience the home town friendliness and delicious, diner-like food, you really forget about the ambiance and instead … enjoy the diner-next-door vibes and hominess.
The place is small, but I appreciated the online “waitlist” feature. It goes by a lot quicker than expected. I had to re-put myself on the waitlist cuz we weren’t at the restaurant yet. This place also has a “order at the counter” first and then get seated situation, which helps things move along and turn tables over, but I’d have to say that this is my least favorite part. You get more fast food vibes than dining in vibes.
The food, however, was definitely worth it. They have a large menu with amazing coffee drinks. The coffee drink I got was probably my favorite part. The food is also really good and feels like breakfast without being too greasy and heavy feeling. I came here for breakfast, but I definitely want to try their lunch menu too. I’m glad my family and I stumbled on this place by accident cuz I definitely discovered a gem in the rough.
The flavors were decent I’d say. The onions could’ve been browned more. For the price, I think it’s a bit expensive for what you’re getting.
The coffee mug I got was a bit dirty as well.
Got the breakfast tacos that were on the specials menu. Something different, I’m typically an omelette/eggs Benedict gal.
My meal was SO good. A highlight of the trip honestly. Hope to have a reason to go back someday!! I got an iced tea but the iced coffee drinks looked really good. Highly recommend!
Edit – I appreciate the condescending reply!! Let me enlighten you on another interesting concept; people read reviews before going places and might want to be aware of the mayhem they are going to get themselves into. There is nothing on your website that says this is counter service. I’ve also never waited 20 minutes to get a seat at Panera which I would’ve like to have known before waiting for mediocre food.
While we’re at it, who charges for extra for maple syrup? You’re like the spirit airlines of breakfast places.
Ordering: Some specials are displayed on the walls, but most of the food and drinks are on two double-sided menus you can take at the front. You order in line and pay before you get your food. Tips are accepted in cash only. If you’re dining in, using indoor or outdoor seating, you get a number to put in your table so they can bring you your food.
Service: With the place at about half capacity, I got my coffee in a couple of minutes and the food arrived within a few minutes after. Water and glasses for water are self-serve by the front counter.
When done with your meal, you bus your own table by throwing away trash and putting away plates, silverware, cups, etc into bins for dirty dishes. This also meant the table I sat down at wasn’t as clean as it could have been. There was still some trash and crumbs left behind.
Food: The salmon eggs benedict was good. The smoked salmon was tasty and I got a fair amount. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly and runny once broken. One of the English muffins was a bit overcooked on the bottom, making it very hard to cut a portion of it.
Coffee: The hot mocha latte with whole milk was good too. It was definitely a sweet coffee, not too much, but the chocolate did seem to overpower it a bit too much or maybe the coffee itself wasn’t very flavorful. It wasn’t my favorite mocha latte, but it wasn’t bad. They do offer many different uncommon flavor options, which may be interesting to try.
Parking: The restaurant has its own private parking lot for customers right outside. There was also ample street parking within the area within a couple of blocks.
Seating: It is pretty tight for some seats inside. There are 4 extremely tight 2 person tables with less than a foot to squeeze by to get to the bench seats. There are also some 4-6 people tables inside. There is also a lot more spacious outdoor seating with umbrellas to provide some shade from the sun.
Restroom: There is one single-occupancy restroom inside.
