Bushi Bushi in Addison is such a gem. From the moment we walked in, the service was amazing. Our server, Linh Fa (the sweetest auntie with short hair!), was so attentive and genuinely helpful. She gave us great recommendations and made sure everything flowed perfectly.

We ordered the roasted duck, pea sprouts, shumai, soup dumplings, spicy dumplings, pork belly, and fried rice, and honestly, every single dish was delicious. The timing of the food coming out was spot on. Nothing felt rushed, but we also never felt like we were waiting too long. Everything came out hot and fresh.

The oolong tea was especially comforting and paired so well with the meal. The ambience was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dinner. And for the quality and portion sizes, the prices felt absolutely worth it.

Overall, such a great experience. Good food, great service, and a warm atmosphere, we’ll definitely be back.

The entrees had an authentic Cantonese flavors. The stir fried dishes had the “Wok’s breath”, which is a good thing. The portions were a little bit smaller than expected for the price.

The dim sum, overall it was good. The soup dumplings and baos were very good. The Siu Mai was more shrimpy than porky, tasted like it was the same filling as the har gao.

The wrapper of the har gao was a bit thicker than expected.

The service was great, and a very cute and thoughtful detail of handcrafting a mechanism for kids to use a chopstick as well as a kid’s plate.

The ambience was fitting for a hot summer day as it was cool and shaded. The place was clean and neat.

Bushi Bushi is a quiet triumph of dim sum artistry. From the moment the first basket arrives, it becomes clear that this is a kitchen guided by both discipline and affection for its craft. The soup dumplings, delicate and perfectly formed, hold within them a fragrant broth that bursts gently upon the palate—an experience both playful and deeply satisfying.

Equally impressive is the lo mein, thoughtfully composed and balanced, each strand carrying the careful attention of a chef who understands that simplicity, when done well, can be sublime. It is a rare pleasure to dine somewhere where the plates themselves become the evening’s conversation—where each bite invites another appreciative pause at the table.

While the food confidently takes center stage, it would be unfair not to acknowledge the staff, whose warmth and attentiveness elevate the entire experience. Hospitality here feels genuine, effortless, and sincere.

Having visited twice already, I find myself eagerly anticipating my next return. In a city rich with culinary ambition, Bushi Bushi has earned my admiration as one of Dallas’s finest dining destinations. 9/10.

I have lived in Dallas from Houston for over a year and have been disappointed in the Chinese food quality until today. Bushi Bushi is delicious! The atmosphere is open space, laid back, but with an upscale vibe. The prices are extremely affordable and the quality of food is superb. I spoke to the manager and he was a delight, very appreciative. The wait staff is accommodating and spot on for all our needs. We will return!

First time being here and was not disappointed. Big portions. I ordered a large bowl of hot and sour soup, delicious. Then the pork soup dumplings were also delicious. Everything was excellent. We had the bbq pork belly, pan seared wygu pot stickers , the hot oil wontons , salt pepper shrimp is huge shrimp , and the beef with flat wide noodles. The galaxy lemonade, we will definitely be eating here from now on

My friends and I were hanging out for lunar new year and we got hungry. One of my friends, has never had soup dumplings and since we were in the area, we had to go here. I’ve been to another Bushi bushi and it was great. We ordered soup dumplings and other dim sum items, and entrees and family styled it. I think we ate with our eyes lol cause there was so much food. We ended up having some leftovers. All in all, we had a great time and good experience. Servers were great, attentive and respectful. My friend liked it so much so, she brought her family the next time. It’s a busy restaurant, which speaks for itself! If you’re in the Addison area, or want some dim sum, definitely check it out! This place is great for small or large groups. Till then, let’s eat!!!

Went here with my boyfriend and a few of his friends. We went just as they were opening for dinner service so we were seated immediately. Food came out pretty quickly too.
It was delicious and I completely forgot to take pictures of the shumai & dumplings that we also ordered.

It was easy to send orders with their ordering system through our phones. The ambience was nice. Went there for dimsum. They looked like they were short staffed but they had the robot delivering out drinks that helped them. We had a good dinner/experience there.

A little dark but the food was amazing! Authentic Chinese cuisine. We came in at 430pm and not your traditional cart dim sum probably since it might be slower ar dinner time not sure, first time to this place since our hotel was right across the street. I hadn’t had dim sum in a long time since my favorite place shut down right after covid. So happy to find this place. My daughter is picky but loved the combination fried rice and sesame balls has red bean and small balls u like other places that are way too big and too much carb in one ball! Loved the Peking Duck (didn’t come with the duck sauce I’m used to) but has enough flavor and shrimp ball the sweet and sour sauce is a great blend of sweet and sour not too much of one or the other. Try it! Will be my go to place when we visit the area again!
