First time trying out this place after a basketball game and it definitely won’t be the last. First and foremost- the staff is AMAZING. Our waitress Michelle was incredible and worked her tail off. She was perfectly kind and took her time to get everything just right. She even gave our kiddos quarters to get candy on the way out. She deserves serious praise for her efforts.
Food was fantastic- highly recommend the smoked gouda cheese hush puppies and the burgers. Fun environment with good music.
Highly recommend a visit!!

First time trying Uncle Worms. Definitely a mixed experience.
Pro’s:
Chicken salad sandwich was excellent
Sweet tea was perfectly southernly sweet
Was told the Mac daddy Mac and cheese was good
Cute dining room

Con’s:
They were out of the smoked Gouda hush puppies
They were out of spinach for the spinach alfredo bacon dip. We did just the bacon and Alfredo and it was really runny, not the creamy dip we were expecting. They were also out of chips but gave us extra pretzel bread which was really good.
Fries served with the sandwich were supposed to be waffle fries. Instead they were regular fries that had good flavor but had sat a bit as they were luke warm and had become a bit soggy.
Tables need a covering. They were just sticky and felt like they weren’t clean (they were but just the type of surface)

Will try again at some point as I really want to try the hush puppies

My husband and I checked out Uncle Worms for the first time and we had a brisket sandwich. The bbq sauce was very tasty and the meat was tender. The aesthetics seemed to be a shabby chic motif. Omar was very nice and sat down at the table to tell us more about the daily options. They have a different menu item according to which day you go. Highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely go again.Went back again yesterday and everything was great.

Visiting Waco. Walked in Sunday afternoon about 145. Was the only one there and thought.. oh boy. Was warmly greeted and seated and brought the brunch menu. Ordered the brisket Mac and cheese. They brought it out, and I thought to myself, I wonder how this is going to taste. Well it was DELICIOUS. The Mac n cheese itself was very good but the brisket on top was awesome. I mixed it all up and was super full. Got banana pudding to go.

The food was good. The pork was a little sweet for my liking. The Mac momma had a LOT of Buffalo sauce on it, next time I will get it on the side. The waitress seemed new and nervous, but she was sweet. The drinks were good as well. Place is a little off the beaten track but overall I give it 4 solid stars.

Stopped off here on a whim. We liked the atmosphere and the wife had a burger and I had a toasted pecan chicken salad roll.
The wife said her burger was one of the nicest she has ever had. Fries, were slightly salty but the did grilled onions when she asked and that was great.
Service was good.
Would recommend this joint.

Place is much more fun and comfortable than it sounds! Very down to earth, owner will come talk to you and explain their history and some of his favorite dishes if you haven’t been before. They usually have off menu specials and will also try to accommodate your order. Food is very good with giant portions. The BBQ sauce is very tasty, tender brisket. We had the Mac Momma and Omar’s Nachos. The sweet tea is DEFINITELY Texas style! Very sweet and delicious made in house. Would recommend again especially if you like brisket, cheese, and hearty dishes. Service was very good.

I came on a Tuesday night for both food and karaoke. Karaoke goes from 6-9pm on Tuesdays on the second floor. I got the Mac Daddy. The food, service, and karaoke were all great! It really started picking up around 7:30pm. It”s one of those places where the locals go and all know each other, and everyone was very nice and welcoming.

The food was great. I had the Mac Daddy, and it was delicious. The pretzel chips appetizer was small but really good. The manager working that night was super nice and made us feel welcomed.
