The beer at the Haymount Truck Stop is excellent. Even better is the service. Every time I went up to the bar I was greeted immediately and the bar tenders were incredibly nice and helpful. At the end of the evening I felt I needed to tell them and the manager about this and I was met with genuine thanks and gratitude. I travel all over, and this experience was noteworthy. Also, I’m not always a big fan of food trucks, but all the food we ate was truly excellent. We talked all during our visit about how great it all was. I don’t live in the state, but I know I will be back.

Multiple food truck options. Beer on tap is always cold and a large variety. Service is always great. We live going here! Pet friendly!

The bar was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was lovely, and the drinks were diverse and enjoyable. The service was top-notch and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The food trucks outside provided a delightful variety of cuisine, and I tried the Indian food from one of them. It was absolutely delicious! The outdoor seating area was perfect for families, with plenty of benches to sit and eat while the kids had fun in the mini play area. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great time and fantastic food.

The Truck Stop is a great idea & location for food trucks. I would give a big thumbs up for the bar inside. There are great variety of drinks to choose from with free ice water. The in and outside seating offers good options to accommodate the food truck customers. The food from trucks is disappointing especially the Spanish one. Maybe we were just unlucky. The $17 shrimp meal was oil soaked 12 small shrimps plus three pieces bread…

There really isn’t anything to dislike about this place. It looks like a gas station from the front, the name says truck stop, lol, but seriously you’ll enjoy yourself!

It gets hopping! So go early if you want to find a table outside in the early summer- 7:30 pm was a struggle on a Friday night but they provide plenty of space for people to spread out, standing spaces with ample sturdy ledges for your drinks and food while you wait to snag a seat -there’s even turf in the back (that’s where it’s at, if you ask me). We didn’t wait long to get a table (seat yourself). It got a little loud out back (just acoustics bouncing off walls and fencing) so if you want quiet or chatting with friends and want to hear them it’s better out front though less seating (wonder if they are able to add more without overcrowding, I felt they might be able to out front but not sure).

The vibe is chill!! Great crowd: mix of ages, types of people, military and civilian, families (before it got dark), couples, girls’ nights and guys’ night (very dog friendly! I could sit all night watching the pups) with lots of Adirondack chairs (live music that night was great: young guitarist on vocals ). There was 1 corn hole game and some oversized Lego blogs in the back which was cool, tent cover for high tops and a few tables (which a couple of the tables could be shared by different parties- we were a party of 3 shared it with a couple).

Decor is unique, clean, artistic, and the bar staff IS.THE.FRIENDLIEST.IVE.EVER.MET. MATURE LEADERSHIP (AND/OR OWNERSHIP) HERE. Was served (with a smile) immediately upon walking in, then served (with a smile) immediately the next time even though it was busy. Closed out (yep, again with a ) with kindness confirmation everything was okay etc (even though it was really busy by then)!

I was hesitant about the food truck food (haven’t had too many good experiences) but we ordered off the blue seafood truck and WOW the portion size of flounder was huge, crabcakes and hush puppies delish (with some sort of signature sauce with a kick). That was a wait, but all my experiences with food trucks seem slow, maybe an hour but SO worth it and you have time to chat and chill (while you also wait for an open table).

Lots of cool and unique drink and beer options! I was thrilled they had a nice surplus of NA choices that I love.

Parking is in the small lot they have out front, street side in the neighborhood, and all over the area you’ll find closed businesses for the day so you may be able to park there but just be cautious you are parking ️ where it’s allowed (which I’m not sure that is- but there were no signs saying not to- beware the open-late salon behind the building, don’t park there so they can have their spaces).

The crowd here was respectful and kind, all there to enjoy themselves in mature ways. A breath of fresh air from the typical “bar scene”.

Honestly, the only complaint I had (aside from it being hard to hear when crowd was cheering the musician) was that TP ran out on one of the stalls, but by the time I told someone about it, it was already refilled!

I’ve been in the customer experience and service business for decades and this place nailed it. I hope this new establishment lives on forever. It’s a super addition to the community and it’s super cute too!

Very cool bar and food truck area. Great vibes. Been several times lots of fun. Pretty well priced for what it is. I’ll forewarn you parking is about the only bad thing. If you park in the spot near that says no parking the tow driver will get you. They work nonstop I’ve watched people park and 20 min later get snatched. It’s truly clockwork. Besides all that the drinks are good and most of the time the food trucks are awesome.

There was a certain truck we ate from and it was not good. I don’t remember what it was called…but I got shrimp and grits. I think I got five or six shrimp, no seasoning, no sauce, no sausage. Just a little bit of shrimp and a lot of unseasoned grits. For how much I paid, it definitely was not worth it. The actual truck stop, inside was pretty and the drinks were good.

Had a great time with friends. I like that every weekend the food trucks rotate or are random. The drinks are on point always. Place is very dog friendly I don’t own one, but love them.

The music played here (during our visit, at least) is not necessarily family-friendly. My 9 year old was able pick up on swearing in the music and talk of less appropriate things and adult-themed content. But, it is secular. Decent variety of food trucks. Maybe update the playlist? I’d much prefer my children listening to more wholesome things while they eat, cause our children *do* hear and pick up on things, and this matters to me.

If you are looking for a place that has a fun and inviting atmosphere for all, this is it! We have been here a few times and each time is something new! They have different food trucks throughout the week, which if you like us, gives you unlimited options. One night we had Bobba tea, carne asada fries and a hangover burger!
****NOTES FOR LOCATION****
1.Please please please make sure you pick up after yourself. The location is beautiful and the staff work hard to get your drinks and keep the atmosphere fun. They do not have time to clean up after everyone!
2. The bar is a cashless bar. They only accept cards and you are able to keep an open tab. The drinks are amazing! They also offer fountain drinks and water.
3. There is indoor and outdoor seating. However, indoor seating fills up quick. Sometimes you have to fit in where you get in! Make friends people!
4. This establishment is dog friendly! You will see all size of dogs and breeds. Please ask owners before petting them or allowing your kids to pet them.
5. Please pay attention to parking areas and signs. Some locations you can get your car towed. There is pleanty of parking at the Church public lot not to far from the Truck Stop. Find parking locations on their Facebook or Instagram page.
6. Last! Have fun and get a little something from all the trucks that peak your interest. I promise you will not be disappointed. To find out the schedule follow them on Facebook or Instagram.
