My experience was very pleasant. When you visit fast foods, you never get to meet nor talk with the Owner, nor even know their name. The Owner is welcoming to the good and not so good reviews. My experience was pleasant and warm
. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming.
My food choice was pork chop, butter beans, green beans and yellow rice. I was pleased and I am full.
The price was normal for a resturant, with good food.
I will definitely be a ” Word of Mouth” of support.
Help lift an African American Brother, if we don’t who will. We shop at other Nationality store, and they won’t give you a dime, and sometimes, awful service and we go right back to their store( Hair Depot and Nails Shops), so, maybe your first experience wasn’t the best, try it again, instead of tearing down.
I applaud Uncle Willie, for being a Entrepreneur and wish him the Best.
Thank you Sir

Customer Service was great though.
I’m thinking the gentleman that waited on me may have been the owner, who was friendly enough. I ordered about $60 worth of food. This was for two plates, a desert and potato salad. In comparison to other soul food restaurants around town, pricey on some items. Honestly I should have just drove the distance to another establishment, as I would not
be hungry nor writing this review, but I decided to give them a try because their new, black owned, and want to be supportive and keep the dollars in our community.
The meals weren’t seasoned and there was no amount of doctoring the food up that would make it truly palatable. The baked chicken was tender, the mac & cheese tasted like it was from a box just added some cheese to it and baked it, the cabbage was tender for the most part but not seasoned, and not sure what was going on with the rice (yellow & white) and or potatoes salad as it was the worst I have every tasted. Last but not least, no cornbread to go with greens/ cabbage, it was like a cornbread pancake. Now trust I have eaten them before because my grandmother would make them as a quick go to mix with greens these were disappointing as well, flat, bland, and greasy.
I can’t tell you how to spend your hard earned dollars as your experience maybe the totally opposite of mine, but one thing for certain and two things for sure, as for me and my coins, well you get the picture.
Thank You for accommodating “The Sister hood Group today. The staff worked tirelessly to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. We ordered everything they had on the menu.
