Crate local neighborhood restaurant. Sometimes a bit tough to get into but always worth the effort. The food is delicious not overly priced and the wait staff is very accommodating. The owner Louis will greet you at the door and is there to ensure a fabulous dining experience. Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant.

I’ve been here 5 or so times and have always had an excellent experience start to finish. Highly recommend the Ghost IPA for IPA lovers. Fresh oysters are always on point and we tried the lobster bisque which was also delicious. Both pictured entrees were delightful.

My son and I had dinner here tonight and it was a memorable meal. I’m visiting from CA, grew up in NJ, and told him I haven’t had a good clam in ages. He found this restaurant online and the other glowing reviews were spot on. We felt welcomed from the moment we entered and each plate of food was of the best ingredients, beautifully prepared, and served piping hot. And lots of good chewy bread to sop up all the broth and sauces. Leave room for dessert because it’s well worth the indulgence. They only offer 2 desserts – cheesecake and a cannoli – and both were exceptional. All my subsequent visits will include Uncle Vinnie’s.

Had an early dinner on my own here this past Friday and it was a good experience. It’s a smallish restaurant but was still surprised to find almost every seat occupied at 4 in the afternoon!

Great little clam bar in an unsuspecting area. Food , service, and atmosphere are all great and as if you are down the shore somewhere. Very reasonable prices also .

The nautical decor is fun, colorful, and charming. The staff was attentive, pleasant, and fun. Both the kitchen and the bar served us promptly. Rich, our server, was excellent even with a full house. We even got to meet Uncle Vinnie! He shared with us that this is family owned business. The food: the oysters were fresh and delicious. The calamari was crisp but not chewy. The Flounder Francese was covered in a delightfully thin yet flavorful batter with an golden sear. The lemon sauce had the perfect amount of lemon. The fish was cooked perfectly. The pasta was sublime.

The best pasta in clam sauce I have ever had. The food could not have been better and was well worth the wait! Our server was awesome and on the money. Just a bit noisy but what do you expect with a small space like that.

Such a perfect spot for a delicious Italian and seafood meal. Came here for the first time this summer and not only was the service incredible, but the food was amazing! We had penne vodka with shrimp and linguine with clam sauce. This place fills up quickly because it’s small, but totally worth the wait!
