I recently got two of the frozen pasties from the Independence market grocery store- really enjoyed the spinach/feta one!! Super tasty, lots of filling which I appreciated, however we also got the beef one and oh boy, that was disappointing. It had NO flavor, which is really quite strange. It was to the point where both my husband and I said the same thing – it had the texture, but tasted like air, no salt no seasoning not even flavor from the veggies or beef, so we definitely will not get that one again. Still gave four stars since the one was good, I want to try more!

These are hands down the best pasties around. Flaky, soft and packed with ingredients. I ordered from doordash and they arrived perfect. I also highly recommend the chicken noodle soup. This is one of my new go to spots.

Small place with great pasties. Gluten free pasties available for sale. They are frozen.

Uncle Peter’s Pasties are the best pasties in Michigan! Yes they are better than pasties found in the Upper Peninsula. You will find a great selection of pasties, including pasties made from Wild game like elk and venison. Buffalo and beef pasties are my favorite. They can be purchased hot ready to eat or frozen. I like to keep a selection of pasties in the freezer for a quick meal. The store is located on Sashabaw Road just south of I-75

I just had an amazing meatloaf sandwich on cheese bread with grilled onions (big, only able to eat a little more then half of it). I also bought 2 pasties for home and saw all the great looking soups, variety of pasties, salads, desserts to take home or eat there.

Very good home feeling. Great to be able to get Elk, Buffalo,Lamb and Venison. Besides way better then pot pies or fast food.

The worker there tonight was so kind! I wish I would have gotten his name, very talkative and great service. The pasties were amazing and so reasonably priced. We will absolutely be back due to not only the great food but phenomenal worker!

One and DONE carried out 3 of the xtra meat “beef” pasty. The onion to meat ratio was absurd- at least 40% onion – much too much. The pastry itself was pleasant – but neither of us liked the filling and are NEVER returning.

This Pasty place is family owned. They are made from scratch. They are really delicious and have a lot of meat in them. We usually get the cooked but frozen extra beef. I live in Highland and It’s worth the drive to Clarkston to get them. They have been in business along time, the picture of the little boy I’m building is now in college. They also make cabbage rolls which we purchased today, can’t wait to try them. We bought buy 12 get one free they are around 9$ a piece.
