I recently ordered the Half Pound Mick Burger via Uber Eats from Uncle Mick’s Bar & Grill in Jupiter, Florida, and had it delivered straight to my hotel room. This spot is a local institution—celebrating over 25 years as Jupiter’s go-to for chargrilled burgers (voted the best in town by some), award-winning jumbo wings, live music, karaoke, and that classic dive-bar vibe with pool tables and darts.
The Half Pound Mick Burger is an 8 oz chargrilled patty served with a side of fries, and you can customize it to your heart’s content. I went with American cheese, onion, tomato, bacon, pickles, and a good slather of mayo—a classic loaded setup that hit all the right notes.
From the first bite, I was impressed. The patty was juicy, perfectly chargrilled with that nice smoky flavor you expect from a place that prides itself on burgers, and it held up surprisingly well during delivery. The toppings were fresh—the bacon was crispy, the veggies crisp, and the cheese melted just right. Everything came together for a hearty, satisfying burger that lived up to the hype of being one of Jupiter’s best.
The kitchen was lightning-fast too—I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they prepared and got the order out, especially for takeout/delivery. The bag even included handy extras like ketchup packets, salt, and pepper, which were much appreciated.
The only minor gripes? The portion of fries felt a little skimpy—I could’ve used a bigger handful. They arrived unseasoned, but the included salt and pepper packets fixed that easily, so it’s not a deal-breaker. Overall, the meal traveled well and tasted great in my hotel room.
Solid bar food. I’d definitely order again if I’m in the area. Great burger, quick prep, thoughtful extras—loses a point only for the modest fry portion. If you’re craving a classic chargrilled half-pounder in Jupiter, Uncle Mick’s has you covered!

Dive bar with great service. Food was just ok. We stopped in late for dinner. The chicken sandwich was great. They added buffalo sauce and it was delicious. The shrimp were the big butterfly, tasted frozen not fresh. Krinkle cut fries hot and cooked perfect. Lots of pool tables, loud music, eclectic crowd. Bartenders were fast and friendly.

Uncle Mick’s is a good place on all counts. Food is decent, service is decent, atmosphere is decent. They don’t totally excel at anything, but they don’t fall flat anywhere either. For the money, it’s a great place to have a casual meal or drink. We’ll always go back to Mick’s.

I have been here five or six times for line dance lessons with Jerri, and I have enjoyed them. Each time, I ordered a beverage (or two) and an appetizer to support the venue. The young woman who waited on my table was friendly, and the food was decent. As I do whenever I go out, I tipped more than 20% to show my appreciation for my server’s hard work. For my past two visits, I was unable to find a table, so I sat at the bar. The bartender, Linda, was snappy and rude both times. I tipped her anyway, because that’s how I roll. However, I think I’ll stick to Renegades for line dancing from now on, for its larger dance floor and overall friendlier (and cleaner) atmosphere.

This was a delivery order on New Year’s Eve so I expected delays and some issues. I was happily wrong. Delivery was actually early and the food was awesome. The only complaint I have is with the wings. I ordered 25 wings and picked 4 different flavors (based on the online order form). They sent all of them in the same sauce (honey garlic) instead of splitting them up. Luckily they were really good so we weren’t too disappointed (the next time I’ll order them “naked” with 4 sauces on the side). The rest of the order was fantastic. The steak quesadillas with jalapenos added were probably my favorite, besides the wings of course.

This place resembles a school cafeteria and thats being kind. Trash everywhere. Every table was a mess,old food smeared on the tops, floor had food and soda all over. Door handle to exit had sauce and soda on it. Very cold and inviting. Metal chairs strewn around. A metal counter with absolutely nothing on it is where they serve your food across.

Fun laid back place. Pool tables, darts, and other activities such as karaoke and trivia to name a few. Bartender Chris was on point. Great local spot. Fast friendly service. Even though it’s my first time here, it felt like I had been coming here for years. Highly recommend.

Pretty darn good bar food and a great crowd. Lots of different things happening on different nights of the week. They have 5 pool tables and 2 dart boards and a big area for dancing!
