It’s usually a good sign when there’s a line stretching out the door of a restaurant and so this is worth the wait. I recently started getting pizza there and am happy I tried them out. I usually get the Margarita but this time ordered a Sicilian pie and it was delicious! I’m not a corner or edge person (I’m that guy asking for the center slice) but when I got home and opened the box the crust had the perfect amount of char and golden toast to it that I couldn’t pass up trying it. I’ve been eating center pieces my entire life and just found out what I’ve been missing although none have ever looked this tempting to take the risk. Check out the menu I posted because there’s a whole lot more than pizza.

Amazing pizza with perfectly balanced sauce and crisp and light crust. The crust is not doughy or yeasty-just perfect flavor. Grandma and grandpa slices are delicious! The owner is so friendly, helpful and patient with describing each type of slices available. Many are very creative. Must try the pinwheels. They are light and full of flavor. The interior of the restaurant was recently updated and is comfortable and looks good. Best pizza and highly recommend!

Everyone has a neighborhood pizza that they grow with. We are so happy that Uncle Louie’s is ours! Having moved from NYC a few years back with two little girls with lots of after school activities we are often on the go or need a last minute meal. Uncle Louie’s is a staple in our home. Their salads/entrees are delicious, the pizza is consistently great, and i love catering birthday parties and other social events with their food. They make it so easy, their prices are very fair, and the owners are the nicest people. Every time we come in, Dave or his son will give my girls some pizza dough to play with and it makes them so happy. Thank you for being such a gem in our neighborhood!

We’ve been going to Uncle Louie’s for many years, Dave, his staff, have been always amazing every time we come to visit them. Their cooking is fantastic, from their shrimp dishes, linguini and white clam sauce, chicken parm, and beyond. We love their garlic knots as well (I order them for home). Dave and his team treat us like family.

Sometimes the noise level is very high and at other times it’s the place to unwind and have a solo pizza. It’s a wonderful place and the Sicilian is probably the way to go here as the plain is still good, but it’s a little thin. In the mornings or early afternoons, you could probably head here for an “escape,” but later on at night it might be more vibrant haha

Delicious margarita with excellent crust. Grandma had perfect garlic flavor in the sauce. Broccoli cheese pinwheel was nice and light. Crust, sauce and cheese blend on plain slice was amazing. This is NJ pizza at its best. Everything was excellent. Slices are generous. The ones in the pictures are single slices cut in half.

Oh you must do Louie’s. We were in need of lunch traveling from Rhode Island to Ohio. We first tried a search of restaurants on Google Maps and another establishment was suggested. I got a 2nd opinion on Yelp.
Uncle Louies came up near by. We immediately knew Louie’s would be a step up from the Google suggestion. The hospitality was over the top, David asked where we were from since we did not sound like a local. I replied O hia’ and explained how “car” is properly pronounced (not “kaar”). David, a grandson of Louis, answered all our cuisine questions, dropped off a couple sample slices and pepperoni rolls. That got our attention.
Our two pies came quickly. The house specialty, a thin but not cracker crust, no grease, loaded with fresh meat and veggies pizza was a knock out. Alll agreed it was one of the best pizzas ever. The Grandma was an attempt at deep dish but less impressive. Dont take us wrong, it was still very good since we could simply eat the sauce as a soup. The pepperoni rolls were so good, we bought 1 to go along with the broccoli and spinach roll and garlic knots with sauce fo later.
Our server was a delightful young gal who kept our glasses full and checked on us appropriately.

Stopped at Uncle Louies in my travels to grab a quick slice. The place is super clean and the people are very nice. Apparently they installed new booths and wanted my opinion on the decor. The booths were comfortable and the pizza was excellent. A very good slice that was above average. They offered many different types of slices as well. Looks and feels like.a great local place. I would go back for sure.
