We ordered two fajita plates with filet beef tenderloin and bacon wrapped shrimp. For dessert we had the pinata. We requested the filet medium well and it came out rare . Head to send that back. The meat was bland but the garlic better gave it flavor, although my garlic butter was missing and I had to request it. The charro beans taste like souped up ranch style beans. Our waiter was nice, but not once did a manager come to the table to see why thr food was being sent back. Anytime I go to a restaurant and food is sent back a manager comes to the table. The pineapple was hard and bitter, the churros was cold and hard. They brought more churros and this time they were hot and hard. We had to request for a manager to come to the table this time. They removed the bill for the piñata. Ater all that the bill came out. As stated earlier me and my cousin ordered the exact same thing but my bill was more than hers and the waited could not explain why. The manager had to go figure it out and the explanation was he charged me more on taxes. This was way to much going on just for some fajitas.

This was my second time at the chain, first was in Allen a couple of years back,I wasn’t a fan then. Giving them a second chance on mother’s day. I can say without a doubt that I won’t ever eat here again. The food was below average for Mexican food and was way overpriced. They seemed to have been out of a lot of things. My mother in law ordered the type of tacos that you dip but they were out of the dip and were selling anyway. I had the 3 taco plate with black beans and rice. The beans looked as if they ran out and combined it with charro bean juice and served it. My wife ordered and appetizer of bacon wrapped shrimp, 4 came on the plate and we’re overcooked. My wife and her mother were laughing at the small app. I paid $50 plus tip for myself 2 kids meals and 2 kids drinks I drank water. I have eaten better Mexican food at a whole in the wall better than Uncle Julio’s…We had a good time because we are family. Won’t eat here not just at this location but the chain in general.

An old mainstay of Dallas for a tex-mex experience. Classic offerings at a reasonable price. I found the chicken enchiladas very tasty with the beef enchiladas a close second. The salsa is robust with only the slightest hint of heat.

Good food. Good service. However the place is too noisy and without any music it sounds like a chaos.
