Really good BBQ !! If your in the Casselberry/Altamonte Springs area and are looking for some really good, and decently priced BBQ you have to stop by Uncle Jones ! The food is fresh the brisket is tender as heck, he pulls it off the pot when you order it!! It does not get much better than that!!! and the sides are homemade and they are amazing. I highly recommend stopping in for lunch or even picking dinner up. This is real bbq!!!

Good tasting BBQ for sure. Fantastic okra. Our ribs were great, no complaints! Uncle Jones himself is also polite and quiet, if a bit too old for this. Unfortunately his stand / spot is very rough around the edges. Understandably, it puts a lot of people off. Very loud generator in an open truck which makes it louder, dirty, unkept trailer, no comfortable place to wait, so you sweat in the sun while slowly gets your food together. Our food was great, but I can believe that some people have a bad experience. It’s actually on the side if the road in the grass of a property that seems to be a junkyard :/ This situation seems to be on its last leg. COVID was probably hard on him too. Prices are not cheap, especially given the rough circumstances. I bet Uncle Jones used to be a smoother setup, but now it’s barely functioning and maybe not covering it’s costs anymore. I think he should call it quits… if he can afford to do so.

Owner used to have a small restaurant nearby and moved into this food stall. Great southern BBQ. Brisket is juicy and flavorful. The sides of Greens are generous and done just right. The Peach Cobbler just simply hits the spot. He does take cards for payment but cash is always preferred.

Purchased 1 ln of Brisket and 1 half chicken. Brisket was $20. Lb, and have a chicken was $12.50. Very tasty indeed! Plan on going back in another week.

Unexpectedly an absolutely delicious stop. Fantastic barbeque that’s hard to find. Don’t let the little shack put you off. Bring cash and try the sweet barbeque.

I’m from Canada & the last time I was there was Dec. 2001 – 22 yrs ago! I googled Uncle Jones’ BBQ & I was amazed to see that he is still alive & still making that delicious food. At that time, he had a modest, wooden, sit-down buffet, patronized by white shirts & ties among others, with the bbq out back. I recall that it was on a grassy area with open fields around it. I don’t know what made me think if it today – maybe all the snow we’re finally getting & wishing I were down there. Wonderful memories.

This is the best BBQ in central Florida when you factor in flavor and value. I don’t need any fancy picnic tables and lift fixtures just some of Uncle Jones BBQ!

Not normally a fan of pork or okra but today I decided to give it a shot and now…. I am completely converted. His seasoning is spot on. Also, I love that the meat he uses is lean and not grisly. Very impressed for a side road setup. Will be routinely returning to try everything he makes.
