We came for dinner, party of 7, everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Family owned and operated. Wonderful atmosphere & holiday decorated. We sat in the large back room of the restaurant, could easily host an intimate bridal/baby shower. Garlic knots, calamari, mozzarella sticks, eggplant parm, chicken franchise, cannolis, everything is very good, portion sizes are huge, service is great. Highly recommend!

Really liked the peperoni roll, and the pizza was loaded with cheese… excellent undercarriage and good quality ingredients. Inside of the restaurant was freezing but I won’t hold that against them.

Called Uncle Joe’s late… 40 mins before closing. Ordered a specialty pie for pick up. Without hesitation they said no problem. Got there about 20 minutes later and they were literally preparing to close. They were super nice and did not give me an attitude. The pie was perfect. I’ve had Uncle Joe’s before and it never disappoints.

We had our sons baptism in the back room with 60 people and everything was perfect. The food was amazing! The staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND! Highly recommend!

Food was wonderful. Pasta night is the best deal for italian pasta. Bread was amazing. Coffee was also great which came with my meal and also dessert amazing. Staff was super polite very attentive. Water was filled 3 times which is awsome and i felt like i dined 5 star. Plenty of room 16 full tables. Super classy and great prices that cant be matched .

Hard to find a pizzeria that executes great pizza and Italian entrees and appetizers.
On my recent family visit to the island, I always try to make here for at least a few slices.
I’m a Sicilian pizza purist, just the basics for me and their Sicilian is in my top 10 on the island and I’ve eaten at more pizzerias than I should divulge . The crust is cooked perfectly, crispy but not overdone. More than ample amount of creamy cheese and my favorite part is the sauce.
The sauce is in a league of its own, perfect balance of acidity and sweetness, it has a distinctive taste that is hard to duplicate. If they sold fried sauceballs, I’d fly up from Tampa, just for that.
If all these accolades weren’t enough, the people here are nothing short of amazing. Warm, friendly and inviting, people you look forward to seeing. Place has a community vibe like it’s Bay Ridge not middle country rd in Lake Grove.
Looking forward to my next trip back to the island and next time, stopping in lunch and trying one of thier delicious daily specials.
