Chicken fingers , fish and shrimp is what they make here, nice portion of seasoned fries. Chicken was a bit bland – it was good, don’t get me wrong,, just not enough flavor/ seasoning on the chicken, cod fish. I consider this bar food. If in a rush and don’t have time to eat – this place is it cuz they were fast. I’d go again .

Great food! Always hottttt and fresh! I would recommend the trio…definitely a splittable meal. Piece of cod, Five shrimp, Three chicken fingers, fries, and Cole slaw, and a drink. Service is always top notch, never a problem! Check them out. 🙂

The food was absolutely amazing! However I feel like the coleslaw could have had a bigger portion with the Uncle Joes 6 piece combo + coleslaw. & my drink was watered down. Other than that, the food was so so so yummy. I’d go again.

The employees were very nice, and in-fact I think uncle Joe himself was there – he mentioned that the chicken is never frozen and marinated for 24h, which sounds great if true. Otherwise, the chicken was amazing and the fries were pretty good too.

Food had no flavor / seasoning. Very bland. Nothing was grilled about the grilled tenders and they are tiny. Will never eat here again.

By far one of my favorite places to grab a quick bite. Been coming here since 2015 and apparently Google history says I hadn’t been there in 2 years. So it was time for a visit. Venue was clean and spacious as I remembered. Service was prompt and polite as well. 4 large screens smack in the middle of the restaurant and some others placed along the walls. I ordered the 4 tenders combo with an extra uncle Joe’s sauce because there is no need for any other sauce. Food came out piping hot as usual and the tenders were crispy. I’ve seen people complain about them being soggy but I think those folks don’t under stand condensation. As I write this review I’m wishing I could head over there right now. I’m not a fan of coleslaw but there’s is good and the giant Texas toast type bread they give you goes perfect with the meal.

Ordered the fish sandwich, cod is a choice but I went with catfish. Big piece of fish there! And seriously hot. Had to wait a few minutes before I could start eating. It was among the best fish sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. Crunchy outside, tender inside.
Since I was trying to be a good boy (calorically), I skipped the fries & drink. My total was $8 plus tax.
The menu isn’t huge but covers quite a bit of ground with what is there.
When I was there, I was the only one eating in. Plenty of take-out/delivery orders, though.
I would like to see a spicy version of Uncle Joe’s sauce. They have a mango habenero & a sriracha but that sauce specifically kicked up sounds great to me.
I expect I’ll try some of the others when I return to finish my business @ Midas later in the week.

Tried the $20 Trio at Uncle Joe’s — catfish, tenders, fried shrimp, fries, toast, and a drink. The portions are generous, but the flavor didn’t wow me.

The chicken fingers were the size of two fries or together. Nothing was bad, but I think I’ve seen chicken nuggets bigger than these tenders. I’ll be back to “my ex wife’s” or “Dave’s chicken” before I come back here. This place is at least worth a try if you’ve never had it.

This was my first time here. I was in the area after a bowling session and wanted some good chicken, so I decided to come and try this place.
To me it’s one of those low key places that wouldn’t catch your eye, but the food is pretty dam good.
I definitely recommend coming here if you like chicken tenders & fries because they are pretty good and you have a lot of sauce options to choose from .
Coming back for sure.
