I’ve tried their Wellington steak and it’s a must try.
Other food were also fantastic, definitely worth a try on special occasions and you have something to celebrate!
There was no characteristic dry-aged flavor or aroma — no nuttiness, no depth, just a watery, bland taste. The steak released a large amount of liquid while eating, which is not typical for properly dry-aged beef. The fat and lean separated badly, there was excessive connective tissue, and the texture was chewy rather than tender. Honestly, the overall quality was worse than the $15/lb steaks I buy at Costco.
On top of that, the exterior was significantly overcooked, leaving roughly 20% of the steak burnt and inedible.
For a $95 steak, this felt extremely misleading and poor value. If you advertise dry-aged beef, customers expect authentic quality and proper execution — unfortunately this meal delivered neither.
The staff is friendly and accommodating. Our server Angel was top notch. He ran through the menu for my father and really got him excited for the dinner.
The menu is pretty simple – meat. Crabcakes and lamb chop appetizers were a hit. I, almost, wish that both had entree options. The entree portions are relatively large but cooked really well. The steak always comes out very tender and flavorful. The sides are not so great. The mashed potato was cold and missing salt. Broccoli and creamed spinach was ok. The steak fries were burnt and dry, very odd texture and disappointing. The bacon corn brulee was the best side. It tastes like a chunky and slightly salty cream of corn, definitely recommend it.
Great steaks obviously but the lobster bisque is also a must!
It’s expensive but worth it for a date night or special occasion. Lunch specials are great and we love to just sit at the bar to get smaller bites and a few cocktails.
