I called with a specific order and was met with an order that I didn’t want. The food lacked flavor and overall was a disappointment. I did receive a full refund after I returned the food.

I ordered 3 items for takeout. The beef chowfun noodles had a plastic flavor to them while the beef was bland. The hot and sour soup also had a strange flavor and a watery consistency. Lastly, General Tso Chicken was soggy, gristly, and lacked flavor.

Nothing tasted even remotely fresh, and it was way too expensive.

Did a Dinner take out. Front staff was great, very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was great. Food was so, so; had the Lovers Shimp. Small portions, could have been seasoned better. I will go back to try another dish.

I’ve been going to this restaurant now for three decades. I currently live in San Jose and whenever I’m in the mood for some great Szechuan, I drive from San Jose to Pinole. No other Szechuan compares.

If it’s your first time get the “10 ingredient fried rice”, “chicken chow mein”, “beef and broccoli”, and DO NOT forget about the “princess chicken”. ENJOY!
