Visited Uncle Chuck’s and it was better than I expected. My expectations were already high. Lots of great options, and Chuck gave excellent recommendations. Plenty of seating, a great bar area, and a cool wall paying homage to legendary pizzerias.
The Drunken Grandma was phenomenal. Perfect crust, great sauce, cured pepperoni, and hot honey. The ricotta was a perfect way to top it off. I also got a pepperoni pie for the kids.
I drove from Chicago to LaSalle (about 1 hour 45 minutes) just to try it and it did not disappoint. Definitely going back. Great food. Great customer service. Worth the money. Worth the visit.

Uncle Chuck’s Pizzeria is hands-down one of the best pizza spots around! The crust is always perfectly crisp, the toppings are super fresh, and the sauce has just the right amount of kick. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the service is fast, even when they’re busy. You can tell the staff and owner takes great pride in their work as it reflects in the product! Traveling home from Bloomington and ordered since reviews were so good & New York style pizza is a favorite. Ordered three different pizzas. A pepperoni, a mushroom & green pepper and the Drunken Grandma. Unless the online ordering was messed up, I did not receive the Drunk Grandma. I think it was the Bronx Pizza. It stinks because we really wanted to try the pizza with hot honey but they were all good. Crust under was crispy, edges were airy inside. Pepperoni cups and crisps perfectly. The cheese slabs were good, crispy on bottom. Wish they were closer so we could try all their speciality pizzas.

before i ordered from uncle chucks i saw the 5 star review and how they didn’t have hundreds of reviews and was a bit skeptical of the 5 stars but after receiving and eating their pizza i can confidently say it was quite literally THE BEST PIZZA IVE EVER HAD!!! mind you we didn’t order any crazy specialty pizzas it was literally two NY style pepperoni and meat pizzas but there was just something so special about the pizzas i one million percent would recommend this place every time!!!!

Grew up in NJ/NY. Recently moved here and First pizza in Illinois that taste like home. Hard to find NY style anywhere around here and this pizza reminds me of home. Hopefully they get a phone line soon so ordering is a bit easier than only being able to order online or walk in and wait. We will be back !

This place has it figured out and the food and service is great! Guys working there are personable and give great recommendations. NY style is the best around by far. Everything I’ve had there exceeds my expectations! Ambiance is fantastic and so cool. Only problem is there there’s only one and it’s a 25 minute drive from my house!!
