I’ve had an Uncle Bucky’s twice at 2 different events. When I say that they have THE BEST turkey legs and ribs, I’m not lying. Absolutely fall off the bone, sweet sauce, good flavor. After eating there at the first event I went to that they were at, I had dreams about that turkey leg and sauce. When I found out they’d be outside the Strawberry Festival, I knew that’s where I had to eat. The BBQ here is truly the best I’ve had. Better than Carolina BBQ, better than Alabama BBQ. No one compares. 10 out of 10, I recommend them to everyone I can.

First off I want to say I lived in St Louis and I ate BBQ regularly. It’s pretty good there, but Uncle Buckys is by far one of the Best in Florida and I’ve been back home for a few years now. The quality of the portions are top tier, and so is the taste and flavor. I also tried the chicken sandwich and the Smokey flavor was in every bite, I was waiting on the Q all day so when I got in the car I went for the sandwich and man ohh man was it’s amazing, moist and not too seasoned, I have found my BBQ home, keep up the great work

You won’t regret it!! I’ve had my share of bbq and let me tell you, QUALITY is the name of the game here. The meats are high quality!!! I’m particular about how food makes me feel and I felt like a million bucks after eating this bbq. I did not feel sluggish and I was so satisfied. Make the detour and stop by here. The people who run this are as sweet as can be.
Be sure to check their Facebook to see where they’re at. That’s the only issue I had when trying to locate this gem. I wasn’t sure which location they were at because google states they’re located in Lakeland but they were in plant city.

Want some of the best local barbecue in Lakeland area then this is what you’re looking for. The ribs were outstanding. Mac n cheese is actually Mac n cheese. Cole slaw was delicious and diced. Uncle Bucky’s is a must try experience. Locally owned and operated by a stand up guy. Do yourself a favor and give them a shot.

We first had Uncle Bucky’s at a neighborhood food truck event and we were hooked! My husband (a native Texan) usually goes for brisket or ribs, but when he finally got to the event after work the options were limited because the food was so amazing and we were there at the end of the event. He got the chopped chicken sandwich and I got the pulled pork sandwich; both were amazing, however my husband developed an obsession over his chopped chicken sandwich. The next time we did the chopped chicken sandwich again but added in potato salad and ribs. The flavor was so good and we can’t wait for our next visit! The guys behind the counter were so friendly too!
