We were told this place has been taken over by wahlburgers… regardless, one of the worst service and food experiences ever.
Over priced, understaffed, rude staff, and nobody seemed to know what was what. Food differs from menu. Menu items not available.
Ordered “adult shakes” (alcoholic) only to be told on 3 different occasions they weren’t available. On one occasion, we ordered them at the bar. The bar tender told us they didn’t have the ice cream to make the shakes. 10 minutes later we watched him make multiple shakes for a server in the restaurant. Waited over two hours for food boxes and check once we were done eating… horrible.

We only went there to wait while a friend was still shopping at Bass Pro. First of all we had to look for a servant to get seated. When we were served we didn’t get any plates for our starters. When the main corses finally arrived at the table, we had no cutlery and had to wait for the fourth plate to arrive later. That was Alfredo shrimp pasta, overcooked and it had four shrimps in it. We didn’t finish our food, so it wasn’t good, since we were hungry when we came in. For 4 people the check was $85 for a bad meal and horrible service. The single star is just as low as the review allows for, not deserved.

We got a Championship Burger and a fish burger. Both came out excellent. The sweet teas were super sweet. Our waiter was the best waiter we’ve had in a while. He was quick, he gave good suggestions, and he was kind and friendly to the max.

Love the ambiance and decor in this restaurant as well.

Great experience, wasn’t too busy on a Saturday, mind you it was about 18° outside, the lookout was unfortunately out due to the weather. The food though slightly overpriced was good at the Wahlbergers. We’ll have to come back when the restaurant and the lookout are open. We also found out that the restaurant in the hotel was only accessible to registered guests of the hotel.

This place was probably the biggest let down I’ve ever encountered. In the atmosphere of the Bass Pro Shop at the Pyramid, my expectations for service and food were high. Unfortunately, those expectations were not met. We had the cheese curds as an appetizer. I ordered the Steakhouse Burger, fries, and a half house salad.

After the waitress delivered our drinks, she did not return until she delivered our appetizer, which took around 10-15 minutes. (The cheese curds were the only part of the meal that were okay, but the batter was quite dark, which leads me to believe the grease was probably in need of a changing.)

After taking our order, the waitress again didn’t return until delivering our food, except when my husband waved her down for a refill. I didn’t see any of the wait staff with a smile on their faces nor with an attitude of good service. It seems like the wait staff and management have never been trained in their jobs.

When my food arrived, I was sad to see that I didn’t have fries and a salad, only a salad, but I decided not to bring it to the waitress’ attention. I was disappointed with the burger patty being a pre-made, possibly frozen one, especially at the $12 price. The gorgonzola was okay. The bun was crumbly and fell apart after the first bite. The lettuce was wilted. I ate two bites of the whole burger and then tried a few bites without the bun. The burger was not hot when it arrived.

My mom spoke to the manager about our meal, since none of us (mom, dad, husband, me) was satisfied with our food. She offered to have the kitchen remake anything we wanted, but we declined. She seemed to be more upset with us than with the state of our food, and took two plates away as she left. Our meal was discounted, thankfully.

I’ve added photos of my food as well as of the restroom, where the paper towel dispensers were empty and a roll of dispenser paper towels were on the counter.

My kids and I decided to partake in a few games while we were staying at the lodge…it was so much fun! The staff were super nice and respectful and went out of their way to make sure the kids had an amazing experience. The lanes were immaculate and the decor was interesting and entertaining. Great location – we will definitely return when we are in town!

Kids loved the Mac and cheese. Stopped for lunch here during our visit to the “look out at the pyramid”. You will have to check in with the staffs at the entrance bridge (the water below the small bridge has the largest alligator gar fish I have seen). Good hospitality. I noticed the manager visited every table to meet and greet the customer with the wonderful smile. The bowling alley is around the same place . People can dine in the bowling place as well. The bowling alley is themed around fishes and sharks.

The food is alright but what really threw me off is that the bar refuses to make any nonalcoholic drinks. I’ve never been to a bar where they refuse to make a mocktail. I am 4 1/2 months pregnant and just wanted something fun. So sad. And the bartender was rather rude about having to chat with me period. I stood there for way too long with all of the guys at the end of the bar, just chatting, having to wait to be told no.

Horribly overpriced with bad service. It took 30+ minutes for our appetizers to come out, and our server was unattentive. We got the gator bites, which were not mind blowing enough for a small portion to cost $16. Would not recommend, the food and the service are bad quality here.

The staff was friendly enough, but my daughter and I waited an hour for so-so food that was not complicated (fish and chips, mac and cheese). They even got my drink order wrong. Absolutely not worth going there. It’s two stars and not one because at least the food was edible — the macaroni tasted like it came from a boxed mix and probably did.
