Came back after 2 years of being away. The food was absolutely incredible as well as our server Frankie! We got to sit in a booth facing the bar, very nice restaurant. Definitely recommend!

Had a great experience dining at Pecan Grill and Brewery
Our server Frankie was awesome, accommodating our group needs. Food was delicious, beer was great and the atmosphere was great too. I had the sliders and they were tasty.

Just passing through town and went for lunch and sampled the local brews. The pecan amber was so good I purchased a growler to take back to our Rv for the evening. We had the Brewer Bites 3 sliders with fries and a prime rib sandwich with fries both meals were very tasty.
Nice atmosphere, service was prompt and friendly.

This was a great experience. Jared the server was very nice and we never felt ignored. My sis had the chicken parmesan and I had the mushroom pork chop. Both tasted great. The food proportions were fine for the price. We’re going back when we get back to Las Cruces.

The Pecan Grill and Brewery left me absolutely speechless! During my first visit with my boyfriend, we spent the night in Las Cruces for a country concert, and this place was conveniently located by the Mesilla Mall.
The drinks and food were excellent—simply amazing! It’s truly a must-try. Our server was fantastic; he asked if it was our first time and offered great drink recommendations. He also helped me customize my meal to perfectly fit my desires.
Again, wow! I highly recommend this gem for anyone in the area!

Came to spoil myself on my birthday and was pretty dang disappointed. I hate complaining but we spent so much money for a bad experience.
Off the bat the service was off; for a fancier place I expected a happy greeting at the door but didn’t get one. Our server was nice but was just either super busy or forgot about us.
The manager asked if we were celebrating anything and I told him about my birthday and he promised us a free dessert that my kids were super excited about. The wait was so long unfortunately so we decided to just pay and go home. To add, we went on a Wednesday night and the place was fairly empty.
This place has great reviews so I’m hoping to give it another chance one day.

we ate there last evening, I got the chicken pasta and my son got the pecan encrusted salmon. Both were absolutely delicious. also we got deep fried pickles as an appetizer and they were the best I’ve ever had. The service was wonderful as well. the manager (who is from Louisiana) stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed. So thoughtful. We’ll definitely be return customers!! A++
also, when we went back we got the meatball sub and the shrimp with risotto. but if they hadn’t told me there was shrimp in it I’d have never guessed because I saw one teensy tiny itty bitty piece and that was all. but the sub was fantastic!!

I went on New Years eve. First time there. The food was great. Only positive attribute about this place. I used 2 bartenders out of the 3 on duty. They were terrible. Couldn’t make an old fashion. So, they “wing” it. Not even close to the real thing. Then tried a vodka gimlet. Again simple drinks every bartender should know. Put it together in a rocks glass with soda. No simple syrup. Wow, that’s bartending 101. They weren’t even close. Not even going to discuss the price of those drinks. Most expensive in town.
Now, let’s move on to the ambiance. Earlier on, there were a lot of echo’s. You could hear people talking in other parts of the restaurant. No piped in music, background music. Nothing.
Then, we moved to the back bar for their ‘New Years party” Same thing with the bartender there, couldn’t make a simple mixed drink. The reason I used the bartender was the fact that the waitress was nowhere to be found 99% of the time.
The music was terrible. it was rap and disco. That’s great for young kids. The youngest person in the bar seemed to be about 40 years old. Went up to probably 70. Not music for that crowd. A good manager would have read the room. But, failed to. They had the Nashville country music show on the TV’s. That would have been more appropriate.
Overall a very poor experience. It wasn’t crowded at all. The manager could have walked around and talked to people and got a feel for the room.
More and more places seem to keep the temperature, music and environment to appease their staff rather that their clients. Myself, I will never go back. I’m sure Chili’s or Applebee’s had a better environment and I know a lot cheaper drinks and the knowledge to make them.

Frankie was a fantastic server. He checked on us frequently throughout our dining experience. He was very courteous and thorough.
The food was delicious, and came out fast even though it was extremely busy.
Would highly recommend.
Also, they are dog friendly!

We ate here for a Saturday lunch and it was not busy at all. The atmosphere is nice, new, open, and would be a good place for a date. We tried the outdoor patio first but way too much road noise for me so we moved inside. Our family went and they had a standard kids menu. We had the cheese fondu and artichoke dip to start, both are good with the steak on the fondu being the star for me as very tasty and speaks well for their steak entree. They need to improve the serving utensils on the Fondu vs the flimsey wood spears that did not work well for me as I ended up with as much on my shirt as my mouth. The extra cheese sauce was great with the fries which were nice and crispy. The artichoke dip was good but not great and decent chips but nothing special. I had the green Chile stew as an entree which was OK with tender chunks of pork and potato but is very lacking in the full umami flavor, any hInt of spice, and is more soup than hearty stew. If you like the thought of green Chile with no heat or you are from the north and want to brag about having NM chile with no issues than this may be for you. The stew was also lacking any flour tortillas with it and were not available which was a first for me as I am used to eating it with tortillas vs a spoon. My wife had the Lava burger which was large and stuffed with cheese. It was a good large burger but once again lacking any heat and low on spice. The Monte Cristo was large and very cheesy and your standard artery clogging fare of fried cheese, meat, and sugar on top. The kids ate their pasta with no complaints and they had the standard crayons and paper menus so tablet to the rescue of having an adults conversation. Service was good and we enjoyed our waiter who checked on us several times though the restaurant was not busy. The October fest beer was good and the pecan Amber ale was too much on the sweet side for me but my wife, who is not a beer drinker, enjoyed it. They had several selections of martinis and other drinks which we did not try this time but would seem enjoyable for a dinner date. All in all it a nice new restaurant feel with a more upscale atmosphere and would be great for a date or group of friends and has a decent variety on the menu but is lacking any real flavor/spice other than the steak bites. I rated this five stars as was good for the area and atmosphere and giving them the benefit of the doubt as it is a 1st time lunch experience for me. They do need to work on the food flavor and pickup some spice options vs a standard upscale American pub brewery that threw some green Chile on dishes because, hey, we are in New Mexico. If they can get that down this place may be the hit of Las Cruces. If I was to go for dinner I would definitely go for the steak based on the steak bites on the fondu as excellent.
