We had one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time at Uncle Bills. Shared a breakfast wrap and stack of macadamia nut pancakes. The wrap was large with perfectly cooked eggs, cheese, diced onions and sausage. The hash browns were crispy and soft inside. Pancakes were light and fluffy. Compliments to the chef for a meal cooked to perfection. We sat on the patio and had a beautiful view of the ocean.

Such a Cool Diner near Manhattan Beach. It does get very busy (a testament to how good it is )
Called in here on Saturday morning for Breakfast, it was busy for the Outside Seating and had a 30min wait, but the Waitress was able to seat us immediately inside which was great
The Menu is extensive, the food is prepared quickly and is great quality (I’d recommend the Potato Strogonof )
The staff are super helpful and friendly
Sat up at the Counter is really interesting, watch how the Service and Cafe runs – really impressive
Price was very reasonable, and defo worth a visit if you are nearby

Perfect sausage patties. I know that’s unusual to comment on but people never make them crisp anymore! So good that I ordered more. So if the sausage patties were amazing – just imagine the rest of it.

It’s been years since I’ve been to this place, and I used to come faithfully until I moved. Such a lovely atmosphere right next to the beach, and the orange juice is great! The quality of the pancakes aren’t as good as I remembered, but they are still tasty. I’d recommend asking for your hashbrowns to be extra crispy, and get the apple chicken sausage!

Great prices, portions, quality, and service every time. They take prode in their work. The sear on the burger is very nice and everything is so fresh. Only recommendation is that they put one slice of cheese on the burger instead of 2. Thats just me thiugh. I’ll remember for next time to ask for that. Beautiful location for morning breakfast. Service was phenomenal. Our coffee cups were never empty. There was someone checking in every couple of minutes. The entrees were hot and cooked well. The hash browns, potatoes stroganoff, were cheesy and loaded with bacon. Blueberry Pancakes were light and fluffy. The waffles had a crispy edge that added a contrast to the soft fruity center. My eggs, although cheesy, were overcooked. Uncle Bill’s is worth a visit.

We came to Uncle Bill’s Pancake House on Presidents’ Day, and wow, it was packed! The wait was about 45 minutes, but we didn’t mind—it gave us a chance to walk around and check out the area.
Once we got seated, we were excited to dig in! The pancakes? Incredible. So fluffy, moist, and just everything you’d want from a classic breakfast spot. If you come here, you have to get them. I also tried the roast beef sandwich, and honestly, it was just okay. The beef was a bit tough, and I really wish there were some veggies to add more flavor, but the fries were solid.
One little thing we noticed—the hostesses were a bit distracted, fixing each other’s hair instead of focusing on seating guests, which felt kind of unprofessional, lol. But overall, the food and vibe made up for it, and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Manhattan Beach!

During an LA trip my friend took me to Uncle Bill for breakfast. Cool spot near Manhattan beach. Our host was awesome. Everything I got came as a recommendation from the host. I ended up getting sausage wrap. My friend got the omelette which came with it pancake. Huge fan. When I come back, this will be the first place I visit.

Worth all the hype it gets, my first time here and even though it was pretty crowded I was seated right away. Friendly staff, great recommendation from the staff for the cinnamon apple pancakes which were amazing, eggs were really good. Food came quick. Will definitely be back, just disappointed I haven’t already been here.
