I was so excited to try this food, but unfortunately it was extremely disappointing. We placed our order an hour ahead of time and still had to wait an additional 30 minutes upon arrival. When we asked why, we were told the food was still being cooked.
The rice and curry had only about six very small shrimp and lots of peppers. The curry goat lacked flavor entirely. The plantains were hard and not sweet. The rice was just okay. The brown stewed chicken had very little seasoning and almost no flavor. Overall, this meal was a huge letdown and not worth the wait or the price.

I ordered food, assuming the business had opened about a month ago during lunch hour, as the website said it was open. I got to the food truck’s location, usually at a gas station off Sandy Spring Road in Laurel, MD. After tracking my food, it was never prepared. I went to the location for a refund, and no food truck was in sight. I called the number online, but got no answer. I never received a refund for goods I never received, and no one bothered to reach out to me after receiving an alert for an order they knew wouldn’t be fulfilled.

This was amazing! I was looking for a late night meal, and Jamaican food was on my mind. I got there right before they closed, but they were very kind to still take my order and even make me fresh fried plantain.
After I got my food, I started reading the reviews and read that someone said that their food truck was unclean. I was surprised how clean and organized it was. I definitely will be coming back in the future.

Uncle Bs Food Trailer is Highly Recommended. They gave me a full tour in the trailer and we loved it. My family and friends loves it much we eat here everyday. I highly recommend this food truck ANYDAY ANYTIME !

Food is good yes but my friend told me the area it is prepared in is beyond filthy, meat sitting out in boxes in the kitchen for hours untouched not to mention the roaches running around, the deep frier and oil used for food is dirty and recycled, im sure if you seen the process before it is in your plate you wouldn’t eat it.
