Multiple occasions of giving me more spice than I asked for in my breakfast burrito. I love spicy food so the food that they gave me too much spice in was for someone else and they messed that up. On top of that they usually always give me egg in the burrito regardless of me making sure I ask a few times for no egg. Then I order pozole. My pozole came normally however it was watered down. I’ve been here before for pozole and have had plenty of pozole to see and taste this has been watered down. I can understand maybe they ran out of some of the soup or maybe was on the burner too high but that’s unacceptable to not let me know.

I love this place and the staff are truly wonderful. I am sad to give them a 2 star review, but I’ve been given an allergen one too many times to give them a 5 star. Their food is delicious, especially their breakfast burritos and churros. I am very allergic to Dairy products (milk) and I inform them every time I order. Today my burrito even says no cheese on the wrapper, but they still cannot figure out how to avoid allergens. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place if you have allergies, otherwise they are awesome.

Just opened and this is what they’re doing? gave me the end piece of the bread and smashed it? I usually go to the one on 104th they always give 2 thick pieces of bread and and ask if I want corn or flour tortilla this one didn’t ask or give me nothing but a smashed piece of bread and to top it off no utensils to eat my food and of course it was my fault for not checking the bag still I think this is really bad for just being opened

I have been a customer at other TK locations off and on for decades. Their service and food quality is hit and miss as some others have noted. I came on a good day! I decided to try their newest location in Broomfield. The remodel of the building was nicely done. I was served by a longtime employee who used to work at another location years ago. She was friendly and efficient. I ordered their bacon breakfast burrito special before 9:30am for $4.75 which is a great value for an averaged size burrito. It had bacon, egg, potatoes, chili and cheese. I really like that they put a lot green chili in the breakfast burrito special. A solid breakfast burrito for the price.

Used the drive thru tonight, ordered a steak burrito smothered. That by far the best one I’ve ever had. Meat was tender and seasoned well. The burrito was big and the green chile was good, not to hot. The guy at the window was curtious, friendly and honest. I paid with cash, it’s cheaper, and gave correct change, I thought, when he gave me the change back from my $20 bill, he also gave a quater back, said I gave him an extra quarter. Kudo’s to the young man for his honesty. Done with Santiago’s!

We stopped by the Tamale Kitchen in Broomfield and had a lovely lunch.
The beans and rice are excellent, as well as the chili relleno and veggie tamale.
The dine in area has lots of windows. You can see the mountains. That’s nice.
I do wish they had plates and real silverware though. We said ‘dine in’ the food was served in a to go box with a plastic fork. Not sure if that was an oops in the order or that’s what they do? Anyway…
The food was excellent and
we will definitely be going back.

This new TK location is spot on!! It was a little busy on a weekday at 8, but they still got my burritos pretty quick. And the kicker was the chili… spot on flavor and plenty of it on the burrito. I will return!

Smothered tamale and breakfast special burrito tastes great and came out super hot and fresh. I love spice, and I was not disappointed. Took a minute to get served, but that indicates to me that it’s fresh. Well worth it and not too pricey.

Had dinner here and it was great! Very friendly service, food was brought to our table (not sure if this always happened but it happened for us.) The 2 combo entrees we got were very good! Freshly made and quality tasting beans, rice, chili rellenos, tamales, etc. I am a fan now.

Yay yay yay! A Tamale Kitchen has opened in Broomfield! We’ve been going to the one in Westminster for over 7 years, but that’s 20 minutes away even for a really good lunch (95% lunch for us, but it’s open all kinds of hours).
Food: I’d class it as “fast casual”: You order at a counter, then sit and wait. Plenty of room. Takeout too, of course.
The menu is your basic Mex – tacos, burritos, tamales, etc. – plus menudo & posole. All is much higher quality than your standard fast food joint. I really like the posole, and every time we go, which is at least once a week, my wife gets the “Mexican Eggroll”. Sounds strange, tastes wonderful. The barbacoa taco is also a favorite of mine, with meat that is juicy and flavorful.
The pics are exterior & interior shots, plus a Mexican Eggroll and a combo 4 plate – burrito, enchilada, and taco, the latter not visible.
The biggest problem with it is finding it; took us three tries. It’s at the intersection of 287 and Midway, SW corner. This sounds simple, but it’s well hidden behind a Circle K at the same SW corner. Very hard to see from 287. But continue through on Midway to the West, first left, and it’s in your face on the left.
Great food, great service. Highly recommended.
Oh, and say “Hi” to Molly (Westminster) or Rosanna (Broomfield) for us. They’ve become good friends over the years of going there.
