Was in a gurry didnt have time to wait for a pizza(only said it would be 15 mins but i was workin) grabbed a bag of chips and a pop then the guy workin offered me a slice of his pizza for free just to try it.. he is very passionate about his pizza and he said you just gotta try it..by the way ive never even met this guy or heen in his store before but i assure you this man knows how to make a pizza!! Highly recommended kinda place and hospitality i thought no longer existed..i will be back!

Al Jr. was in shop and made us feel right at home. Pizza was amazing from the crust to the toppings. Sauce is very very good and pizza was cooked perfectly. Bread sticks were very good also and very soft compared to others. Probably the best pizza we have had this year and we have tried a lot of different places. Prices are good and if you had dine in, I can only imagine your business would be even busier. I highly recommend this pizza to anyone passing by Gomer on Old Lincoln Highway. Take a bag to keep it hot going home. As hot as it ones out of the oven, it should still be hot or very warm when you get there. I will give this pizza and place about a 9.0 and that is very high for me as most I give are high 7’s to low 8’s.

We used to live around Gomer, so our kids grew up on Uncle Al’s pizza. Since we’ve moved, we don’t get down that way much. We were in the area and saw Uncle Al’s sign and decided to get a pizza. My husband watched the pizza being made and said, “wow, they put a lot on the pizza”. He was right! It was a deluxe which was thick and very good!!
When we went to leave our car wouldn’t start, due to the lights being left on. The owners of Uncle Al’s went to their home, got jumper cables and started our car. Now that was ‘above and beyond’ the normal of a pizza, carry out store!!! Thank you!!! Their pizza’s are still the BEST!!!!

We were traveling through area and stopped here for pizza. The gentleman working was so friendly and welcoming and we ordered a pizza that tasted amazing. Was made fresh and took about 15 minutes but we’ll worth the wait!!! He even split pizza into 2 containers for us since we were in 2 cars and added some beef crumbles for my pug to have as well. So glad we stopped.

I come from New Haven County Ct KING OF PIZZA and it was in the early to mid 1990,s I came through had a Pan Pizza and met AL. BEEN TELLING THE STORY EVER SINCE. BEST PIZZA I EVER HAD WAS AT UNCLE AL,s. Can’t wait to stop by again,I now live in Cincinnati. Thanks Uncle AL. Not much flavor. I’ve had frozen pizza that tasted better. People were very friendly but way overpriced for what it is. Gave 2 stars simply on friendliness. Food was 1/2 star!
