Husband and I stopped in for lunch on Thursday. Gentleman serving us was very kind and friendly. The food was AWESOME. We are so glad we discovered this little gem. The fries and hushpuppies are delicious and cooked perfectly. We tried the Turkey, Bacon Swiss and the BLT with pimento cheese. Both very good! The portion of turkey was generous as was the fries. They had a nice little selection of market items, especially convenient for the nearby campgrounds and hikers. Picnic tables available outside and indoor seating options as well. We can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I are so happy that we discovered this restaurant today! We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door by a friendly gentleman with a big smile. The pork chop sandwich was outstanding and the chicken tender basket was fantastic! The cole slaw and potato salad were homemade & delicious and the hush puppies and fries were hot, crispy and seasoned perfectly. We can’t wait to go back and try some of their other offerings. ☺️

Don’t miss this place. Fries were seasoned perfectly with an excellent crunch. Cowboy Burger had a generous amount of bacon. Great fuel up after nearby hiking. Very nice people!

I live out of the area… Dined inside here back in November 2023 and again this afternoon. It is just a little hole-in-the-wall place, but I have yet to be disappointed with the food. We had cheeseburgers, French fries, and hushpuppies. It was delicious as always. Dining area and restroom were clean. If you are in the area, or if not in the area, it is worth the drive; you won’t be disappointed.

We keep saying we are going to stop and give this place a try. I’m so glad we were able to today. My husband and I had the fried shrimp basket with fries, slaw and hush puppies. The girls had a tenders basket. The shrimp was amazing hand battered. This girl, who was mostly raised on the Gulf Coast, approves! I loved the slaw with the extra pepper. The only other person I ever knew who made it that way was my gran. I ordered the adult tenders for the kids to slipt. He was very kind and split the order into two separate boxes and they both had full order of fries and slaw. I definitely wasn’t expecting that. The girls inhaled their lunch and he after he allowed them to get an ice cream. Thank you so much for being so kind today. My gran actually passed early this morning. So your amazing food, hospitality and kindness meant more to my family today than you will ever know. We will definitely be back and the food is well worth the money, with more than generous portions. There are a couple small tables inside in the back. Then several picnic tables outside.

Unaka Valley Market and Deli has some of the best food I have had with great service! I have tried the fish and shrimp which both are amazing but tonight I had the back country BLT with a chicken patty and it was phenomenal!!

We just had lunch here. The sandwiches were excellent. Ingredients were very fresh. Coleslaw was also good. The seating area was clean!! The gentlemen at the counter was very nice and friendly.
