Un Taco Mass is a hidden gem inside a gas station in Temple. It was hard to choose among so many tasty options, but we finally went with the quesabirria plates. The food was delicious, with a very authentic Mexican flavor—tender, flavorful meat and generous portions. Drinks are served through the gas station’s convenience store, which is part of its laid-back charm. Prices were fair for the quality and quantity you get. Overall, a great spot for real Mexican street food in an unexpected location!

The best tacos in Temple! I was a little doubtful about whether the place would be good or not since it’s in a gas station, but I was very pleasantly surprised! I was greeted quickly and with a warm smile. It took me awhile to decide what I wanted because they have a lot of offerings, but I wound up getting my usual: a plate of street tacos. You pay first and then they bring you your food. The guy who works there told me that they’re upgrading their menu to digital screens in-store, but I still took photos of the paper menu hanging from the ceiling. There was nobody when I got there around 5:30pm on a Thursday, and it was very clean. With the street taco plate you can choose two meats and it brings 5 tacos and a side of charros (you can change the charros to rice or refried). I ordered the asada and the carnitas and they were delicious! The carnitas was juicy and crispy (as it should be) and the asada was also flavorful and not dried out! They cook the orders fresh on their griddle, so you will never be served meat that’s been precooked and sitting out, which I appreciate. They don’t sell drinks, so you have to buy your fountain or bottled drinks in the gas station (my fountain drink was $2.05 with tax). They’ve been there for three years and I’m sad that I haven’t been here sooner. I will be back to try the quesabirria tacos! Thank you!

A sense of comfort settles in almost immediately, even before the place has fully come into focus. The welcome feels genuine and carefully judged, the menu is concise without feeling restrictive, and the atmosphere moves with a calm softness that keeps the outside world at a distance. Nothing asks to be noticed on its own, yet every detail belongs so naturally to the whole that staying feels easy and leaving feels harder than expected.

What a hidden gem! It is located inside in the back of an Exxon in Temple. I only stumbled on it because i stopped at Exxon for something else. As I drove away I noticed a small sqaure sign with their name on it about three quarters down top siding on front of building!
I grew up in and around San Antonio amd would consider myself a bit of a mexican food expert. This place has blown me away! Excellent food and service. Fast, polite and reasonably priced.

Mexican food at a gas station? Yes and it’s actually delicious! I ordered a carne asada burrito and had them add onion, cilantro, and salsa verde since I was on the road. I tried the barbacoa, and that was very tasty as well! I will definitely be back. Very friendly owners as well! Thanks for great food and great service!

Great food, nice people. The only reason for deduction in atmosphere is because it is in a gas station.

Chorizo breakfast tacos are legit and the bacon want bad either.

2nd Time here now… Not disappointed Street Tacos, protein Style!

Its not everyday you go into a gas station expecting to see a Mexican restaurant built into it, but By god this one deserves the whole damn lot, The tacos I ordered were by far the greatest of any ive ever tried, and I frequently hit taco trucks daily, this place is my new number 1 stop for tacos 100000%.
If you want tacos, get them here and forget everyone else.

We stopped for gas and asked the guy at the counter what he thought of the restaurant. He said the food was really good so we decided to try it. We got breakfast tacos and they were delicious. We’ll go back.

This is by far the best and most authentic Mexican food in town. The staff is awesome (super friendly). I recommend the asada tacos with rice and beans. The food is so good that I literally stopped mid bite to thank God for the deliciousness bestowed upon my mouth. THANK YOU GUYS!!
