Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry I didn’t discover this place sooner! The food is absolutely delicious. Each dish has its own unique flavor, and it feels like eating homemade, tasty food. There’s plenty to go around for one person. My friend raves that the steak sandwich here is amazing!

If I am judging this establishment purely based on food alone, then it would be closer to a 4, but the economical aspect of this place together with how it has quality food in general makes it worth a 5 star rating. I think that experiences may vary based on what category customers choose their dishes from, so sandwiches are always safe to choose.

I had the signature Caribbean Roast sandwich and it tasted really good! The garlic mayo aioli provided a layer of flavor that the sandwich itself wasn’t able to give. It also made the sandwich richer, as oil kept dripping onto the wrapper. My only constructive criticism is that if the onion was caramelized more, it would enhance the sandwich. Still, though, it was already really good. The pork shoulder was very tender because of the marinade. I enjoyed it very much and can definitely see why many call this Seattle’s best sandwich.

One of my friends had the carne and rice dish, choosing chicken as the meat, and it tasted pretty good per her. It was only $9 which made my friend skeptical, but the amount was so abundant and it tasted good, so to her, it was worth it. Another friend ordered the Caribbean roast dinner plate, which had black beans on the side. She said it wasn’t as good as the sandwich, but had mostly positive comments about it.

When I searched on Reddit for food options in Seattle, this establishment appeared the most, and now I understand why. The only thing I wished I was able to do was having a bigger stomach so I could taste more sandwiches. The one I had was gigantic, so once again, economically it was very worth it.

I’ve had this place saved for weeks. Coming out to grab a sandwich I didn’t expect much, but the staff was so friendly and he gave me a detailed explanation of the menu.

I tried the sandwich and I loved the fusion of flavors, if you’re trying this for the first time get a sandwich or one of their plates. You will NOT regret it!

Had The Press sandwich and Bien Salad. Sandwich was delicious, very messy but amazing flavour. The salad was sharp and tangy, contrasting nicely with the rich sandwich.

Outdoor seating only (with some heating). I called 10 minutes ahead to avoid the line and was waiting with perfect timing.

My coworker recommended this place and it did not disappoint.
The service was great, polite, great vibes, explained the menu, patience with our indecisiveness on what to try first.
The atmosphere was inviting, loved the colors, the openness, and location.
The food, my fish of the day sandwich was flavorful, I chose level 4 for heat and it could have been hotter, but it was so filling, the bread was flaky, and moist, the fish tender, and the slaw was a great complement bringing it all together. My husband had the palomilla steak sandwich. At first he was concerned about the size because of the price point but once he took his fist bite, the flavors justified the price. He was highly impressed, which does not happen often. We would recommend this place to friends and family.

The sandwiches don’t disappoint. Get a number 1. My daughter loved the tofu sandwich option. Worth the drive if you’re in the area.

Friendly staff, quick service.

Outdoor venue. Clean. Parking may be a challenge.

Had a really good meal tonight! The carrabean bowl was really tasty and filling! Hubby had a seafood dish. The scallops were spot on! Very nice woman who took our order. You order your food and take a seat. Next time if daylight would take it across the street by the water for a beautiful view! The price I thought was very reasonable as well! Would totally return again!

Can’t go wrong with a Seattle classic. We got the roast pork and onion sandwich, their #1. Aoli was slightly heavy, but that’s a personal preference. Absolutely delicious otherwise.

Un Bien is absolutely incredible! The sandwiches are packed with flavor — juicy, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with fresh ingredients. The Caribbean Roast is easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the staff is always friendly and fast. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing food to go, it’s consistently delicious. A must-visit spot every time I’m in the area!

I tried the Caribbean Roast and Press Sandwiches and The Press was by far my favorite. Although both Sandwiches are messy and the really hard bread only makes the messier when you bite into them. Prices are fairly reasonable and service is quick. Parking is better after 7pm as street parking on their side opens up.
