Came here the other day after passing thw restaurant many times. The food hit the spot and enjoyed every dish we ordered

I ordered the Volcano Ramen
Pork – Nothing special, but solid
Noodles – It reminded me of the noodles from the maruchen packets
Broth – Solid, but average
Egg – Really liked the egg. It was the highlight of the meal.
It also came with Gyoza in the Ramen that was really good.
I also had a Philly roll. Solid and reasonably priced.
6 out of 10. It’s close by and solid. Could eat there often with the sushi options.

I was a little disappointed with the pork fried gyoza. The sashimi was okay overall, but the knife used to cut the fish may need to be sharpened. As shown in the photo, two pieces of salmon were still attached rather than being cleanly sliced all the way through.

Have been a wonderful experience, we came today for my birthday, the fried ice cream was delicious, we order fried rice with shrimp, sushi and sashimi, Jessci was awesome, so nice and kind, God bless her, it’s a nice place, delicious food and nice environment

We probably go to this restaurant on a weekly basis. They have phenomenal food and an extremely gracious staff that knows what it means to show hospitality to their patrons. I really can’t praise the cuisine or the staff highly enough. They really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.
If you enjoy traditional Japanese cuisine this is the place for you. In addition, if you’re wanting to try out Japanese cuisine this is a great place to start. They have a great menu with strong variety. Their staff is so knowledgeable that we’ve often gone and just told them to make whatever they’d like to. We’ve never been disappointed!

Love this place. Never a disappointment. They can get busy, so be patient, but it’s worth it. We’ve been fans for over ten years and you just can’t find a better group of people that really take care of their customers. I’ve come in with a sore throat and they’ve made lemon honey tea because they could hear it in my voice. Who does that? They do! Jasper, Sony, Paul, Flor, Kenny, Roberto, and on and on…great crew. Again, they get busy, be patient.

I cannot believe I haven’t left a Google review for Umi’s. We’ve been going for over ten years and honestly this place should have a section named after us for all the sushi we’ve consumed 🙂
There’s no way to capture the experience but to go. It’s hands down the best sushi in this area and frankly probably the top three sushi place in our entire life. I’m comparing to top tier places in Japan and San Francisco that have wait lists.
We’ve introduced friends that were not “sushi” eaters and our now regulars.
This is our go to place and after moving further away it’s a bit more time to get there, we still try to make it a regular thing.
It’s my number one, period!

My husband and I eat at the Stafford Umi often. They have made some wonderful renovations with the dining and kitchen areas as well as the restrooms. The restaurant is clean, the service is outstanding and the food is marvelous. Jasper always ensures the sushi they serve is of the highest quality.
I want to also point out that our favorite server is May. We always request to dine in the section she is working. She greets us with a smile and treats us like family. May offers a friendly and positive customer service attitude that puts a smile on our faces. She makes sure our food is ordered correctly and served ready to eat. The professionalism she demonstrates is evident during each visit.
We highly recommend the restaurant to our friends, family, and colleagues. We always tell them to ask for May. Sha sets the example for great customer service.
