I’ve been coming here for a few years. One of my favorite items on the menu is Kimchi Jjigae. It comes out boiling and is very good. The wait staff often do a double take when I order it as it’s not something most Americans prefer. I’ve been accused of being Korean in a former life. Another standout on the menu is the Donkatsu. They give you enough for two meals, and it’s very good. The banchan (side dishes) are all good. I like the potato, eggplant, and fish cakes. They also have a kimchi pancake appetizer that I’ve enjoyed.

Dined here for a weekday lunch. Located near one end of a strip mall, the exterior design and signage is minimal and unassuming. Enter the restaurant and you’re drawn in by the modern design with subtle traditional Korean style décor. Staff warmly greeted us and immediately escorted us to our table. The dining area is spacious with good mix of regular tables/chairs and several grill tables for Korean BBQ, etc. The dining area had mostly soft lighting and a mix of neutral and some colorful hues throughout. Even had a couple of TVs on (no/low audio) in the dining area, one with the news and the other showing K-drama (at that time – When Live Gives You Tangerines). Waitress was friendly, very courteous, and helpful with some suggestions based on what we were looking for. Waitress suggested the Oh So Myun (which is ojingeo-bokkeum on noodles and serving for two). The squid and vegetables were delicious and flavorful. Also decided to try their jjajangmyeon, which was perfectly cooked, flavorful, very filling, and satisfying. Banchan served with the meals were ok. Waitress was attentive and even asked if we wanted more banchan sides, which was already sufficient. Overall, great meals and very good service at reasonable prices. Sufficient parking available in shared parking lot. Also appears to have some covered outdoor dining seating near the front entrance of the restaurant.

Tofu Village (싸리골) has always been my go-to spot for authentic Korean cuisine. The food here is consistently delicious, capturing the true flavors of Korea. The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in each dish make every visit worthwhile.
One thing that would make the experience even better is having more BBQ tables. As a true Korean BBQ restaurant owned by Koreans, it deserves to have ample space for guests to fully enjoy the grilling experience. Despite this, the atmosphere remains warm and welcoming, and the staff is attentive and friendly.
If you’re looking for an authentic Korean BBQ experience in the area, Tofu Village (싸리골) is definitely worth a visit. I can’t recommend it enough!

If you want to try Authentic Korean food, this place should be on top of your list. Great scrumptious food with best service is why I love visiting this place. My personal favorite is JhangBong, Tofu Stew with Kimchi and spicy Chicken. Their hot Stonepot Bibimbob is also delicious. In appetizers, I usually prefer Tteokbokki and Kimchi Pan Cake. Overall, food is great and everything about this place consistent. They never fail to disappoint. It gets pretty crowded on weekends during dinner hours but it is worth the wait.

Good service. Food was decent. The strip mall looks rundown but the inside wasn’t bad. It’s old but service was nice and food was good enough for me to come back again.

Great food, good experience with the bbq. Really like grilling own proteins. We had beef, spicy pork and shrimp. Nice flavor. Our family enjoyed the experience. Liked the side items also. Had sprouts, potatoes, and the classics. Will have to return to try other things on the menu.

Favorite place for stone bowl bibimbap (dolsot bibimbop). Excellent quality and great choice of accoutrements. Pricing is reasonable. They also have KBBQ here, but I prefer getting stone bowl.
