Reviews
If you’re looking for one of the best Japanese dining experiences in El Paso, Umami Revolving Sushi absolutely delivers. From the moment you walk in, the customer service is on point — friendly, attentive, and welcoming without feeling rushed.
The revolving sushi concept makes the experience fun and interactive, and every plate I tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The sushi quality is amazing, and the variety keeps you wanting to try just one more plate. Even the presentation and dining setup make it feel like a premium experience.
Clean atmosphere, great vibes, excellent service, and top-tier sushi — easily a five-star spot and one of the best Japanese restaurants in El Paso. Highly recommend for date nights, family outings, or anyone craving authentic, delicious sushi. ✨
A server seats you, and otherwise you don’t interact with a person unless you have a special request. You order drinks, appetizers, entrees and full rolls of of a computer screen, which is brought to you by a little train. Everything else revolves on the conveyor belt, and you get to choose what you would like to pull. The plates are different colors to show each price. When we first arrived, there wasn’t too much of a variety circling, but when more people started to show up closer to the dinner hour, more options were pushed out. Unfortunately by that time we were getting full. It would be nice if they kept pushing a wider variety out earlier in the day, not just during busier hours. Otherwise, people miss out on a lot of things they might want to try, and if you have to order it separately it’s usually more expensive.
The sushi was good, though some of the rolls you could tell had been out on the conveyor longer than others. Some things arrive warm, while others are stone cold. Great drink and dessert selections!
