Food was flavorful, authentic, and delicious — this place takes Ramen noodles to the next level. Very generous portion sizes. There were many other dishes I wanted to try, and the meals on other people’s tables all looked just as appetizing. I will definitely be visiting again.

When the ethnic restaurant is run by a family, maybe a little kid is doing calculus homework on a Chromebook at one of the tables, and the workers talk to each other in a language that most people don’t understand, you know you’re getting a good meal. That’s Umami Noodle.

Great tasting food. I have had it when I ordered from Grubhub, but it seemed more enjoyable dining in and freshly served. The restaurant isn’t fancy and the kitchen is lobby open like most Asian restaurants, but I enjoyed the meal and I’m looking forward to trying other menu items. The crab Rangoon tasted freshly prepared, like it was made in house.

Food is great, portions are large, service is fast despite how busy they were. Pictures are of chicken stir fried udon, padak chicken don, and pork katsu don.
Inside is nice but cramped. They are constantly busy, especially around lunch, so set expectations accordingly if you plan to sit down.
I recommend ordering ahead and getting it to go.
Edit: I’ve seen other reviews mentioning “rudeness” of the staff. That was not my experience. They were frank, polite, and professional, and even adjusted my order while it was still on the cook line, after I forgot to add something when I ordered online. When I was there at 3pm, there was not an empty seat in the building (on a Sunday when many places are closed), and they were understandably tired, which I will never hold against any small business. It’s a fast casual restaurant with fast casual prices, not a diner.

Ramen had too much onion, the flavor covered up everything else, but the amount and variety of toppings was really good

My 1st time eating here!! I’ve had tonkatsu a plethora of times. But this was my VERY first time having torikatsu (fried chicken) OMG!! It’s soo yummy! The kimchi is SUPER GOOD as well!! The prices here aren’t so bad. It’s fairly clean, and fairly quiet.

The food here is consistently good. Sometimes it crosses the threshold of delicious but every time I order here there’s a part of the dish that could be better. Like the noodles being too hard or the char shu being too hard. The best thing about this restaurant is the broth. Hands down the best ramen broth in the area with good flavour. I would recommend if you’re just looking for a place to try or something new, not sure if it’s a place you would want to come daily.
