Umai Sushi is a hidden gem along the Sea-to-Sky highway. We stopped here on Saturday for a quick lunch, everything we ordered taste amazing. The ingredients are very fresh. Waitress was polite and courteous. Highly recommended.

We have been wanting to try this place. Last week, we didn’t visit because our guest said she didn’t like sushi. Today, we had no guests. The sushi here is very good. the service was fast, decent portion in the favorite combination menu. I had the BC combo, and my wife had the favorite combo.

What a wonderful surprise this was some of the best sushi we’ve had in along time. Crispy crunch, tarantula and jalapeño rolls were excellent. Each plate also comes topped with yam fries. The presentation was very nice.
Beef Udon and wonton soups were very flavorful and loaded with veggies.
Chicken katsu was tender, lightly fried and moist.
We highly recommend coming here.

One of the best sushi we’ve ever had — the flavor was amazing! We don’t usually like raw sushi, but their deep-fried sushi here is excellent.

Stopped by for dinner and tried this sushi place on our way back home. The presentation was great, the menu had a lot of selection and the sushi was nicely rolled. I’m guessing it’s a franchise of the sushi On because it had similar menu items.

Big portions for little stomachs and the kids liked the sushi there. Waitresses were very friendly and the tea was made from authentic Japanese tea bag. Reasonably priced. Strong wifi connection in store.

Delicious! Service was pretty quick and food was tasty. Reasonably priced for large servings. We ordered the spicy Korean chicken, chicken katsu bowl, and spicy chirashi bowl. Presentation was great and taste was even better. Definitely going to bring my friends here next time I’m in Squamish.

We took out dinner from here and really enjoyed the spicy chirashi bowl (you can adjust the spice level yourself by choosing how much sauce you put in) and teriyaki beef bento box which had such a generous serving of food – including gyoza, tempura, california roll, terriyaki beef and stir fried vegetables. Staff were super friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our takeout meal!

We ordered sushi and rolls for pick-up, and everything was still fresh and delicious by the time we ate. The portions were generous, and the flavors were spot on. Absolutely loved the Lobster Roll—definitely a standout!
