Great local bar. Good food and drinks. Very small and intimate environment. The service was excellent and personable. It is a fun place because everyone was talking with each other and I can hear how everyone was enjoying a good time. I will go back.

Love The Ugly Duckling! Such a cool spot with amazing food and a really fun vibe. Everything we ordered was delicious and super fresh, and the drinks were just as good. The place has a cozy, laid-back feel but still feels special. The staff was awesome — super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Definitely one of my new favorite spots in Taunton. Can’t wait to go back!

We have always had a great experience here, but tonight they fell short!! Jamie the bartender is the only reason we come here as she is amazing. We typically sit at the bar and get amazing service. This time the bar was full and for the first time we had to sit at a table. The server was great, however once we order d the Apetizer which came out in a timely manner it all went south from there. My girlfriend and I order two easy items on the menu a Portuguese burger and a chicken Parmesan sandwich. My girlfriend’s meal came out and after waiting over 15-20 minutes my sandwich finally arrived. I then told the waitress this was simply unacceptable as my girlfriend would have been done with her meal by now but because she felt bad we shared her meal while waiting fo mine to arrive. There was clearly a breakdown or disconnect with the kitchen and that’s who failed us. The staff on the floor were amazing. My only suggestion is for the kitchen to wake up and manage the orders to come out together. Overall the place is great, they just fell short tonight in the kitchen.

Excellent services. My daughter totally loves the owner, he was great with her when she act up. He is a wonderful person. The food is so amazing, great drinks. Will definitely recommend it to all my friends and we will be back.

If you live near the Green definitely stop in here for a $2 kamikaze shot because…? Why not. They have great sandwiches, but the table service is very slow. We actually have walked in, was told to sit anywhere, sat down for, no joke, 15 minutes, no one came over to even say hello to us so we left. Hoping the next experience we don’t get ignored.

Well as any other bars I made it in time to order from the menu, so I ordered me a cheese burger with a side of fries. And when I got my meal not only was it hot but cooked the way I like it. And to top it off was the blueberry cheese cake that was off the hook. Can’t wait to try their pizza …

Love this place. Tiny bar just south of the Green. No beer on tap is weird but the food is amazing. Well worth the wait. Service is slow if there is more than 2 or 3 tables seated. Been back a few times and will keep going. Delicious.
