It’s wonderful to be able to order anything on the menu and know that it’s vegetarian. We live south of the border in the us, and it’s impossible to find a dosa in our area. I absolutely loved the garlic ghee dosa that I ordered. I asked for it to be prepared crispy and it was perfect. The sambar was a little thinner than I’m accustomed to but I still enjoyed it. We also ordered the cauliflower appetizer and a samosa chaat. Both were excellent. Our server was very helpful, and recommended a couple of dishes that we probably wouldn’t have ordered otherwise and we are very happy she recommended them. It’s almost worth the hour-long drive just to eat here. We will definitely be back.

Visited Uduppi Adda opposite Douglas Park, Langley. It’s a small South Indian restaurant with a nice, pleasant ambience. The place feels warm and welcoming, and during the evenings there can be a bit of a wait due to limited seating.

The menu offers different varieties of dosas, along with masala tea and filter coffee, which is a good plus for South Indian food lovers. We tried a few items—while the dosa options were decent, the overall taste felt average. The sambar and vada, in particular, tasted more North Indian–style and did not have the typical South Indian flavour and texture one would expect. The staff is very good. Sam’s service was excellent.

Ambience is definitely one of their strong points, and it’s a good spot if you’re looking for a calm place to sit and enjoy a hot beverage. With some improvement in authenticity and flavours, this place has the potential to be even better.

This place was recommended to my husband who is super picky.

I got the dosa thali which was only $14.99
It came with 1 vada. 1 idli. 2 chutney. A masala dosa, sambar and a little dessert, which in think was great value and quality
The plates and flavors were very clean.
But my favorite was the delicious vada. super freaky made to order, and had a amazing little crunch as you but into it.
My other favorite, and if you’re a coffee lover like I am, is get the filter coffee. The flavor was so bold and cream with a little sweet foam and so nicely presented in a cute cup.

We will definitely come back to try more things.

Went for a late dinner, almost 9 pm. They managed to seat all 12 of us together.space got really busy shortly after. Crazy busy for so late in the evening.

Food was pretty standard. Vada was crispy but slightly doughy on the inside. Onion Rava dosa was so so, barely any onions. The Jini dosa was decent. The chiku shake and salted buttermilk were good though.

Pleasantly surprised to see such a great crowd at a vegetarian restaurant. The food overall tasted nice, though a few items missed the mark — the Kara bath lacked flavour and tasted more like average upma, and the channa masala had a strange, slightly off taste, possibly due to yogurt or another ingredient. The special sweet was also just average. That said, the Mysore masala dosa was excellent and definitely worth recommending. The interiors are well done, and I’d still visit again for the dosa experience.

Was better than I expected! The flavours were spot on and the quality was amazing. You can tell this business puts a lot of care and pride into the products they serve. I was happy to see a lot of families dining here as well. I highly recommend the dosas and we will be back for more.

Came for a late lunch at this beautiful South Indian restaurant, definitely one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in BC. The ambience was very welcoming as well as the service was really comforting, the servers were super attentive and friendly. The food was very flavourful and they had great portion sizes. I order the paneer burji dosa with a side of the vada, the vada was perfectly crispy and tasted close to home. They were super helpful with taking special requests. Definitely worth the money we spent. Will be coming back for more!
