There is no better ice cream in the world. The fresh nature, mixed with a history of perfect flavor combinations makes this worth a cross-country Trek every year! You might think I’m kidding, but I do travel from Colorado at least once a year to experience the ice cream of the Dairy Bar. The seasonal pumpkin is one of the best flavors of ice cream I’ve ever had, and when December rolls around, the peppermint stick can’t be beat. Nothing captures nostalgic joy while also being easy on the stomach. It is a staple for a reason, and no one should miss the chance to enjoy some ice cream. Simply the best.

Uconn Dairy Bar is a great place to go for great ice cream. We drive an hour to get there just for the ice cream. Thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner ice cream pie. It was delicious.

Always in my top 5 places to get ice cream. Rich, creamy and made on premises by the students. Many choices and varieties of flavors and always including a sundae designed by the outgoing senior class. Lines look long, but plenty of friendly staff to get your ice cream out to you quickly. Plenty of seating outside to enjoy the country views and agriculture. Worth the visit!

Such a yummy ice cream shop at UCONN. This was introduced by my lovely niece who just graduated this year. There’s a bar-height table and chairs inside. There was no line when we came and it moved pretty fast. The price for each scoop is very reasonable. I definitely recommend this Dairy Bar.

Amazing ice cream. I’ve been coming here for like 20 years. It’s delicious. Ice cream made on sight. Sometimes they are in the process of making it and you can watch. The flavors are great, a pretty good selection. They also have specials. They offer a bunch of pints and other dairy things to go. They have giant ice cream cookie sandwiches too!

All of the ice cream made at the dairy bar is made from fresh milk of the dozens of dairy cows that are in the barn, this gives the ice cream a delicious yet subtle fresh milk aftertaste!
Delicious vanilla ice cream, and you know what they say: “if they can make a great vanilla ice cream, they can make good ice cream”
I recommend the chocolate fudge and the Oreo ice cream
And of course, my favorite:

Today I went to UCONN dairy bar after todays UConn women’s basketball game! I got the warm apple crisp sundae! Every month they have a special sundae and milkshake! The sundae was extremely delicious and amazing! I highly recommended that you come try UCONN dairy bar you won’t be disappointed! I will be coming back many more times!

Be prepared to wait in a long line, and it turned out that most of the ice cream options and my favorite waffle cone were no longer available on the menu, and then my order was not completed correctly and we had to wait again. We also didn’t like the flavors of the ice cream we were able to get.
