Faro opened his first pizza shop in 1978 and by 1987 had seven more. In 1990, he sold the franchise planning to move to Sicily, but the family returned to Grand Rapids. In 1996, he opened Uccello’s Ristorante Pizzeria & Sports Lounge on East Beltline, which has since grown to six locations. In 2016, Uccello’s Hospitality Group launched Herb & Fire Pizzeria in Grandville, later adding a second at Knapp & East Beltline. UHG now has eight locations, inspired by Faro’s philosophy: Always strive to give your guest more than they would normally expect. Provide people the opportunity to enjoy great food and the hospitality to match. You must always strive to be better in everything, and never compromise on top quality in any area.

Small but lively italian restaurant, the food was so good, better than I expected! We got a side of brussels spouts, for our meals we got barbecue pizza and a wet burrito. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, highly recommend Uccello’s!

Traveled to GR for the weekend. Husband and I ate at Uccellos the first night of our trip. It was delicious! So good, in fact, we brought our friends back the next night.

WORTH EVERY PENNY !!! From the service, to the drinks to the food; portion sizes, to the taste wow that’s all I can say. Highly recommend 100/10 .. I’d suggest sitting inside if you can cause I was outside it was pretty hot and there was a protest down the road and people riding bikes on the side walk close to the tables but if you don’t mind that you can enjoy the outdoor tables. Forgot to get pictures of the drink and dessert I had a strawberry crush mocktail pretty refreshing and nice if you like ginger beer and the lemon slice cake I think it was is pretty good.

WOW this was so good! Great food, service, comfortable atmosphere. 7 minute walk from Devos Performance Hall and you can take a shortcut through Ellis Parking! Reasonable price for the area!

My favorite thing about my experience at the restaurant was the portions. I left full and very satisfied as the food is top notch. Waiter KJ was very prompt and professional during my visit. They even have patio seating with a bar area outside that is sometime in operation. Recommend for anyone visiting.

We got the Chicken Spinach Alfredo pizza, build your own stromboli, and chicken gouda flatbread. All were very good! As an appetizer we got the pizza puffs, which were really good! The service was also great! The bathrooms were very clean! It was a little pricey but we all had leftovers to take home so theres that.

The host was ok… The server was perfect. The food was perfect. The men’s bathroom needed service. Paper towels not working. I dislike when restaurants have poor bathroom maintenance, the servers and cooks typically have to use the same bathroom, it grosses me out.

Out of towners who were told to come here by a coworker. Highly impressed with the food! Our server Ariana was the BEST. She was so patient with us while we decided what we wanted to order and super friendly. Definitely ask to be in her section when you come here. 10/10 food, service, and atmosphere!! Will definitely be coming back next time we are in GR!

It was dirty, they charged us extra for items that were included, manager was rude, they wouldn’t remake the food that was wilted and didn’t offer any other options, we ordered a full portion of spaghetti and meatballs and we paid 6 dollars more for just more pasta and 2 meatballs. Nothing was good.
