Ubon never disappoints ❤️ This is place is one of my favorite restaurants in Staunton and I recommend it to people all the time. The food is absolutely delicious and Ubon, the owner/chef and her husband are so nice. They make my favorite pad thai, I am typically a noodle person but their rice items are good too! We went today for the Thanksgiving Buffet since we celebrated with family on Sunday and it was the BEST turkey I have ever had. Seriously, I will come back every year for as long as I am able so I can keep eating that turkey. I have also recently discovered I am allergic to gluten and this place is very safe to eat at. She said that she makes sure to have as much variety as possible for gluten free customers because they visit just for that reason. Eating here feels like eating at your friend’s family’s house 🙂

There is absolutely no excuse a nickel sized plastic in the drunk noodle. Food was disappointing.
The entrance to this location is in the back and was difficult to locate. The condition of the building is very poor. I am shocked health inspectors and building inspectors are allowing this establishment to stay open. Did not feel safe and we ended up trashing the food. The outside and inside are in poor condition. Do not recommend.

Great food! I found a good balance of flavors in my meal, and the authenticity is well stated. This restaurant stands above all of the others in the locale.

They only had one staff (a sweet guy!) so there was a wait but it was so worth it. The food was really delicious. We were so glad we stopped by. Will be back again!

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was authentic, fresh, and delicious. The homemade freshly squeezed lemonade and Thai tea was a great refresher. We couldn’t help ourself without fresh cut watermelon and homemade funnel cake. Best food we’ve had in a long time and It wasn’t expensive. Highly recommend

The food was so delightful that we began eating before we thought to take pictures. We received exceptional service from the vivacious owner, Ubon. We will most definitely return when we’re back in the area. We are visiting from Georgia, so this was our first time at Ubon Thai Victorian Restaurant. Also, they are vegetarian friendly!

If I could give ZERO stars, I would give it minus 5. The fakest Thai food ever. We thought we might get food poisoning because our vegitarian dishes had a hint of chemical flavor. The place looks like it is lost in someone’s nightmare dream and lost its identity.
Run far, far, far away.

Food was okay. It is located in an 1870s house that was turned into an inn. Food is kind of expensive. $86 for 5 dishes. The pad thai is not very authentic; no mung bean sprouts included in dish. Double check before you leave with takeout they forgot to include the rice with panang when i ordered. Overall food is average but probably won’t order again.

A unique amazing Thai restaurant with a down home charming atmosphere. The food is fresh and amazing! We met the owner , Uban, she was absolutely wonderful. The restaurant is connected to the Inn and has the same owner. It is a must visit in the heart of Staunton! Uban serves up fabulous Mai Tai’s. There is s quaint outdoor patio also!
