We passed by this place on our roadtrip. Ordered the Galeo Paleo burger (grass fed beef patty, salad, egg, bacon and avocado), and I absolutely LOVED it! Highly recommend!

Ubetcha Wateca is a fantastic place for quick and convenient shopping. The store is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, making it simple to find exactly what you need. They carry a wide variety of snacks, drinks, and everyday essentials, and everything is neatly stocked.

The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which makes every visit a pleasant experience. Prices are fair, and the checkout process is fast and efficient.

So many reasons to patronize this place!!! I simply don’t have the time.

My best advice is simply to go there on your next river trip and see for yourself how terrific the owner is.

NOT your average small-town cafe!!!!

Great food and lovely service! The garden burrito is perfect if you’re looking for a healthy yet delicious choice. You also definitely get your money’s worth regarding the freshly canned goods. They’re eco friendly and it’s affordable! The mini salsa cup is also biodegradable and that’s always a plus. Will for sure be coming here again in the near future.

They catered a meal for the South Dakota Native Homeownership Coalition’s housing site-visit to Cheyenne River, and the food was so good! It was like home-cooking at its finest. Yummy! Highly recommend them for catering.

My wife and I stumbled across this place on the way back from a road trip in Wyoming/Western South Dakota. Ordered a burger, chicken sandwich and tater tots. Everything was so so so good but especially the tater tots. They were the most crispy I’ve ever experienced! Come to think of it they were probably crispier than Napoleon Dynamite’s tots, and the sandwich/burger were also great. Fast service and cute inside area as well. Some would say a hidden gem!

Stopped in for breakfast, had their breakfast burrito, it was awesome. Kind of like a little oasis between the nothingness of the North Dakota border and i-90 in South Dakota. They take their covid 19 serious on the Cheyenne Sioux reservation, so at this point in time it is curbside only. Bonus a coffee shop was next door with curbside delivery as well!!
