It truly is places like this that is the reason I enjoy sharing my experiences with everyone. First off, get here right when they open if you can because they fill up fast and I’m about to tell you why.
Double cheeseburgers were spot on with a nice crispy crust, flavor was phenomenal in all other ways, delicious crisp bacon complimented the whole package. Fries and onion rings were both great, I like onion rings and these were some of the best I have had in I don’t know how long.
Waitresses were all very helpful and friendly while making sure you didn’t go without. They really hustle in here.

Kristin and Angie were supremely professional and demure as they served our healthy and daintily prepared plates. Just kidding… They were so much more fun than that, and the burgers are an excellent test of gal bladder function. We really enjoyed our visit and jokes abounded about Ty food. I would recommend finishing off with a frosted mug of ale, but you’ll have to settle for a root beer float. Tell the girls that I sent you and you’ll get a discount, I can almost guarantee.

The Ultimate cheese burger is the best in Wichita. I had a cheat day and it was well spent sitting in the famous “Norms” table. It was so good and juicy. The grilled onions and jalapeños and bacon gave the burger so much more flavor. The onion rings were cooked perfectly…hand made. The service was great and personal. It’s been around since the 50s.

Top burger in Wichita for me. Food was outrageously good. Can’t believe this place has been here and I hadn’t checked it out. They have limited hours, and they are always busy, so they have just been evading me. Finally made it today on lunch, and it was incredible. The staff we dealt with were a good time and took great care of us. I went with a double bacon cheeseburger and added a fried egg along with fries and onion rings. Portions were heavy and the price tag wasn’t! 10/10 would recommend.

On our first visit to Witchita, my daughter and I went on the hunt for a tasty burger and stumbled on this hole in the wall. We had to wait about 20 minutes but it was totally worth it. The burgers were made fresh to order and we both gobbled them up. The onion rings were out of this world. We left only crumbs. So very good. I can see why this place is so popular.

Ok. Not sure how we’ve missed Ty’s up to now… I’ve heard how great the burgers are here, and everyone was right. Ty’s makes the traditional smashed type burger cooked to perfection. Those patties must be cooked on the same grill that’s been here since they opened because they are awesome goodness. The buns are grilled and come out looking like the ones. I used to get at the little grill on Main Street in my little town in SE Kansas that’s been gone for 40 years. Onion rings were crispy delicious and the fries are. Fresh cut and come out sizzling hot. Tore into the food before remembering to take pictures but I’ll be back soon to update my review. We lucked out and came o n a day without a line at lunch. It’s that good. Christin, the owner, served us and was friendly and accommodating. If you want to feel welcome just come to Ty’s.
