On a short visit from a long absence from New Orleans I had to return a second time while there to Two Tony’s.
The Baby Veal Special with a Crawfish sauce and Pasta Alfredo was divine. So delicious I returned for a repeat.
Additionally the Onion Rings and Crab Claws was devoured with gusto.
Chef Tony is the owner and Chef and is always on duty in the kitchen and visiting with his diners.
The staff is very friendly and the service is as good as the food.
Free parking and a separate bar area in the restaurant.
This is one of my favorites in New Orleans. A must visit even on a short visit to the Culinary capital in the United States.

We stopped at Two Tony’s after hearing so many good things, and we’re glad we did. We tried the crab po’boy — we were already pretty full, but still wanted to experience a “true NOLA po’boy,” and it did not disappoint. The crab meat was flavorful (with that light coastal aroma you expect) and the sandwich was packed and satisfying. Overall, one of the best po’boys I’ve had on this trip. Good food, relaxed vibe — definitely worth trying if you’re in the area.

The food is very good and the service is excellent. I love the everyone is family atmosphere. Salad- all dressings are homemade and very good. The Lasagna is not the standard. This was made with Italian sausage and the sauce is excellent! Fried fish with fries was good too.

Last time I attended was New Year’s Eve. Only a few customers present at the time, but it is a very popular restaurant. Very comfortable atmosphere. Food was good. Staff were very pleasant. They took good care of us. Parking depends on the popularity of the time. I would recommend “Two Tony’s”.

This is an update to a review I posted a while ago in which I reported loving Two Tony’s soft shell crab and wondering when they would have them again. Well, they are back and I had a fried soft shell crab last night. Just like last time, the crab was perfectly fried. The only difference was the last time the crab was large and tasty. This one was was huge, still perfectly fried, and utterly delicious (see 3rd image attached). I am looking forward to returning again soon for another Two Tony’s soft shell crab dinner. If I could add a 6th or 7th star to this review, I would. DRMcS
I’ve been craving soft shell crab. I knew Two Tony’s had great seafood so I checked it out and was delighted to learn that they did have soft shell crab today. It was terrific, perfectly fried with a choice of sides and a salad. The salad was fresh and cold. The capellini aglio e olio was a perfect accompaniment. The bartender recommended pairing it with an Oyster Bay Savignon Blanc and it was a great (and inexpensive) choice. My only concern is when do I want to go back before soft shell crab season is over.

Outstanding Dinner & Amazing Marinara
Had dinner here last night with my wife and daughter, and everything was fantastic. The food was amazing—especially the marinara. It was so good we bought two jars to take home.
Our server (I believe his name was Wayne) was excellent. His recommendations were spot on, and he handled all of our questions and special requests with ease.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and it’s great having a neighborhood spot like this in the Lakeview/Lakeshore area. We’ll definitely be back—hoping to catch the Cioppino special one day!

This restaurant is such a gem. I went for my birthday dinner with two of my best friends and we all were very impressed. The staff here is amazing and very acomodating. Tracy was our waitress and she literally went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed. She also answered all of our menu inquiries to help us decide on what to order and never made us feel rushed. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. I ordered the Crawfish Fettuccine pasta favorite and it did not dissapoint. The flavor was on point and did not taste fishy or heavily seasoned at all. I also ordered a cup of the seafood gumbo which was probably the best gumbo I have had in years. One of my friends ordered the veal parmesan which was so tender and the sauce on top complimented the meat so well. To drink, I had the chocolate martini and it was sooooo good. Our whole experience here was pleasant and memorable. If you want to have a quiet dining experience with great food and service Two Tony’s is the place to go. If i had to change one thing it would be to add maybe a little bit of light music in the background to just create a different vibe while dinning here, but that is just my personal preference. I will be back in the near future.

OMG….sooo good. The onion rings were the best I’ve had in decades. Chicken parm and lasagne were fantastic. The marinara was excellent and my picky eaters polished off the fettuccine Alfredo, practically licked the plates!
