After looking for New York style pizza and not finding anything quite up to par, a friend & I came to Two Sons. I immediately could tell I’m going to love this pizza once I saw it behind the glass by the slice!
I had the meatball slice and a slice of classic pepperoni. I literally wouldn’t change anything. Not too greasy, but greasy enough. Not too much cheese, but not to little. The sauce was also great, not too sweet and not drenched in it. The meat was so good, the crust was phenomenal!!!! Notice the perfect ‘crack’ in the pinched crust and the very little droop! Soooooo good! And the flimsy white paper plate and NYC attitude even topped it off LOL Nicely done, all the way around.
Plenty of seating and pinball! We’ll definitely be back. This will be a regular for me.

Great pizza! I got Hawaiian and did pepperoni instead of ham and added green peppers. The crust was amazing. Great under carriage.

I could say plenty about the owners and their staff—their customer service was truly outstanding. But let’s talk about the pizza! It was refreshing to find something uniquely NY, in GR. The pizza was fantastic. In fact, I stopped in three times today. My family and I will definitely be back!

Two Son’s Pizza is hands-down the best pizza spot in Grand Rapids.
The pizza was amazing! The one I got was the Grand Pepperoni, a true New York–style pizza, which is my absolute favorite. Thin crust, perfectly cooked, and the slices were HUGE. I originally bought it to eat at work, then took the leftovers home and fed my family (including my kids) for two more days. Talk about value. And yes, I ate a slice before taking the picture!
On top of that, it’s a locally owned, family-run business, which makes it even better. Great food, generous portions, and supporting local all in one stop.
If you’re looking for authentic pizza in Grand Rapids, do yourself a favor and check this place out. Support local businesses—you won’t regret it!

The only thin slice NY pizza in GR! Great quality. Organic flour. Convenient location downtown near bars and Van Andel Arena. Knots were good too.

Yes yes yes! This is hands down the best pizza in GR! Being from NY I was excited to hear about NY Style pizza opening up in GR and I can tell you it reminds me of a pizzeria in NY. The smell, look, taste and crunch! Cant wait to go back!

I moved from the Traverse City area to down here and was bummed that I probably wouldn’t get to have any good New York style pizza, only to find out that they were opening this down here. What luck!

I really loved the bread on this pizza. It has an artisanal sort of sophistication and a great crunch. I could also tell the ingredients used for the toppings were high quality, and the cheese was authentic mozz. I’ll definitely be going here again and again. Support your local pizza place! We need more of them in GR 🙂
