Stopped by here for brunch on the way to the way to the Mamdani inauguration, Jan 1st ’26.
Was hesitant to book a reservation here because my experience with most ‘Australian’ restaurants is that they are very meat heavy places with a brash atmosphere. But reservations for new years brunch were drying up fast so I went for it.
NOT disappointed.
The service was great. The atmosphere was mellow. The lemon poppyseed Belgian waffle was great. Even the coffee was tasty. My companions seemed to like their dishes a lot as well.
Seating is a tiny but cramped but nothing you aren’t used to if you eat out in NYC often. These guys have high rents and need to squeeze in enough customers to make a viable business.
Really liked the small touches like the little flowers garnishing the waffle. And the bergamot flavored maple syrup.
Will visit again.

Blizzard Brunch at Two Hands ❄️ pre-planned a brunch here with friends, and suddenly a blizzard is happening. I’m glad they didn’t cancel our reservation and stayed open (with shortened hours).

Our reservation was for 2pm, just enough time before they closed at 4pm. The staff were so accommodating given the fact that the blizzard was just beginning outside! Heading out for brunch and having good company here was worth it, though! Coffee and food were both good, and I will definitely come back and recommend Two Hands!

Great food for brunch! Came here on a rainy Saturday around 11AM and I would say to definitely get a reservation before if you can because it was practically full. The big brekkie was actually fulfilling, the hash brown was very crispy and nice. The toast though was a little too hard for my liking. Steak and eggs were great as well. The banana walnut bread was pretty good, not too sweet with the coffee mascarpone!! The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the grapefruit juice; it’s too bitter!

Great Food! Fresh ingredients. If you are in NYC it’s a great option. The pita sandwich was amazing, and the sauce on the fries was great too. I’ll be back soon.

The experience was ok overall. The muffuletta sandwich was good but the breakfast burrito was just okay. The pancakes were dry. The service was slow and they forgot to bring the pancakes, which I had to remind them twice. They took my napkin twice and did not bring me a new one until I asked them.

This place gets busy, so I’d recommend reserving a table. The food was delicious—especially the salmon—and the service was great. I also asked to substitute celery with avocado, and they generously brought me half an avocado!

Looking for brunch? Two Hands is a solid spot! It’s a cute Australian cafe with a good variety of aesthetic food and drink options.

I came with a friend at Wednesday afternoon, and got seated right away! We both agreed that the breakfast burrito was phenomenal, and the hash brown with the scrambled eggs was the highlight of the meal. I also really enjoyed the banana espresso martini!

Definitely come check this place out if you want a cute brunch with friends!

Am not sure why this place is famous and requires a no show fee for reservations.
The menu and food both are average, decor is decent.
Our group of 5 went at 2 pm for brunch. The wait time for food was long. Mid way they mentioned the sourdough for chicken sandwich is not available. The matcha latte powder was sub par.
Finally did get the sandwich with sourdough but the bread slice was too thick and filling was dry, so couldn’t really savor the flavors.
A very much average spot overall. A typical Manhattan hype.

I had a very nice dinner yesterday. Service was outstanding and kind. Our pork belly and cheddar croquette was an absolute 10/10. Mains were good but I took away one star due to the steak ~it tasted great. But as an avid wagyu eater and lover I can confirm that the American wagyu tasted nothing like Wagyu period point blank. At the affordable price point of $36 I wasn’t expecting it but I don’t like to be sold a dream.

I had marked this place on my next trip to NYC since my daughter loves a good burger. We walked in without a reservation on late Saturday afternoon and as expected the place was packed. The staff was super attentive and friendly as they seated us in a quick manner. Also a big thank you for accommodating and acknowledging my daughter’s special needs. The burger absolutely lived up to the hype! Would love to stop by again.
