On our way down to Central Florida, we were looking for a good and proper burger place and we found it in 2 Guys Burger and Fries. It’s a short drive off of I-75 and worth the excursion.
The portions are generous, the prices reasonable, and the staff made it a delightful experience. Summer at the register and Marcellus back in the kitchen gave excellent advice about what a first timer visitor shouldn’t miss on the inaugural 2 Guys experience.
It’s not on the menu, but it was recommended to try the Rodeo Bacon Double Cheeseburger (i.e. topped with barbecue sauce and onion rings) and it was juicy and cooked to perfection. The fries are fresh cut and have a large variety of available ways to season them. The salt and vinegar fries were excellent. It was also recommended to try the cheese curds with house made ranch dressing… my oh my were they delicious. If you’re in the Lake City area, do yourself a favor and don’t worry about the calories when you’re looking for a greasy fingers and smiling faces after a hearty meal experience, 2 guys will deliver for sure.

Nothing fancy about the atmosphere, but the food is good. I ordered a bacon double cheeseburger on a lettuce wrap. It was very tasty. Also got a side of sweet potato fries. They were done perfectly as well.

This was our first time here. The service was outstanding! (Extremely kind and helpful young lady at the counter) and the whole store was clean.
The food was eh… just okay. My cheeseburger was pretty thin and dry, although the veges piled on were fresh and yummy. The fries were not bad, just not great either.
All in all I would say it’s not worth the price. I won’t be returning.

The food is hot, fresh, and tasty but may be a bit too expensive for blue collar workers on limited budgets. For the price of a burger, drink, and fries, I could get half a tank of gas in my truck. That being said, the fries are crispy on the outside while being hot and tender on the inside (aka near perfect). You have a number of flavors to get on your fries and they don’t hold back on smothering the fries with salt and seasonings. My smart watches autodialers my cardiologist after the first few fries because the salt meter spiked. I got the garlic seasoning and feel pretty confident my breath could kill a vampire two hours later. The lettuce and other toppings look like they are fresh out of the field which complimented the moderately sized meat patty. I have no idea why places feel they must place the completed hamburger in a chamber under a 1 ton press and flatten it into a round ribbon but Two Fat Guys seems to think thin burgers are in. Lastly is the $3 one size drink in a small cup. I’m guessing the owner has a child to put through Harvard so you get a four liter price in an eight ounce cup.
The interior is a bit dated and feels like there was no quality checks on building the place. Fortunately it felt very clean. I won’t go back here without a 60% off coupon, the food just isn’t worth that much. I also think there is a lot to be said for good presentation and flattened hockey pucks on a smushed bun doesn’t wet the appetite.

Every time we eat here it’s excellent!!
I don’t understand how anyone could leave a bad review of this place!!
The cost of our dinner for 2 was less than it would have cost us at a fast food restaurant and our food was actually hot and cooked fresh while we waited! And the cook/chef kept us up to date on our order while he prepared it.
There isn’t a bad thing to say about Two Fat Guys except I wish I would have found it sooner!!!

Im 300 lbs plus I grabbed a buddy of mine who’s also 300lbs plus and we could not finish our food took me 2 days to finish my fries I ate at 5pm an didnt eat again till the next day and those guys they got on the grill need raises best $30 ive ever spent if your in the area its 100% worth it also sweet potatoes fries (with maple salt ) cheese curds and a double bacon cheese burger

Man what a place, small town, local place great burgers and awesome fries!! Let me start with the fries, they are that good and fresh. Every burger and order of fries seems to be cooked to order.
The fries are hand cut, yes done right and fried twice for a crispy finish!! On top of that they offer many “flavors” or “seasonings” for the fries. Many flavors like Cajun, Buffalo, Salt and Vinegar, Sour Cream and Onion, Cheddar, Kosher Salt, Ranch all which are good, there is a couple more. Worth trying them all! (Some days I might just grab an order of fries for a snack!) Ranch is my favorite right now. But they are all good! TIP: YOU CAN ORDER A HALF FRY FOR LIKE 3$ BUCKS AND ITS PLENTY USUALLY..

Now the burgers,, good ole flat top fried to order patties that are just the right size, kinda thin, so I suggest a double burger. Garden is always fresh (tomatoes, onions and lettuce) buns are seedless, brioche style buns. It’s always spot on and made just right coming immediately off the grill with your fries. It now it hits that window It’s always just right and pretty quick after you order. SWEET TEA IS ALSO VERY GOOD!!
I usually get a double bacon burger, no cheese, ATW but no tomatoes, a half fry with Ranch and a sweet tea. Dine in normally. Runs me about 13$ bucks, which I would spend at any fast food joint nearby. Worth every penny. Plenty of seating inside.
Parking plenty; even lots of parking in the rear. It’s just of Baya in Lake City near Winn Dixie. THEY ALSO HAVE A DRIVE THRU!
