I used to love this place, i’m not sure if the owners changed or what is going on. I loved the green chile chicken pasta but now its more green chile and sauce than chicken. The hamburger that I loveeee, comes with like 8 French fries, today I ordered a Green Chile burger and got a plain burger. Not even mayo or NOTHING. My bf ordered the chicken bowl and it literally has 3 pieces of chicken. Sucks to see a place go downhill. Not to mention I paid $20.00 for the PLAIN burger.

Enjoyed a great weekday lunch here. The menu has a great variety of something for everyone. Our servers were friendly and attentive and there was a nice cozy vibe inside. I had the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich and it was perfectly cooked and generously topped with mushrooms and gooey Swiss cheese. My friend had the green chile stew and enjoyed it as we. We didn’t take advantage of the drinks menu but there was a great selection of beers and cocktails. Will definitely be back. Very conveniently located near I-40, Old Town, and the Aquarium/Botanic Gardens.

It’s difficult to review this place. We had seen it and decided to give it a try. The service was very good even with one server on what appeared to be a busy afternoon. She was friendly and attentive and never lost her smile. The food was pretty good, no different than a number of similar pubs in this price range. The draw back for me was the furniture. Hardest chair I have sat on in a long time! What made it worse was the support bar on the underside of that table right at knee height and the wobbling table. And honestly, I don’t like high tops at all! There were a couple of low tops crammed into the back. It did look like there is another dining area that was closed off. They do have a dog friendly patio for summer use. All in all it’s a decent pub at reasonable prices, especially for Old Town.

I entered not with hunger, but with curiosity. The fountain whispered secrets, the staff graciously righted a wrong without hesitation. Most dishes were overly salted, but the green chile stew…ah, that was warmth in a bowl, bold and deeply flavorful. My drink, rimmed in tajín, was a playful delight.

But beneath the charm, Two Cranes served overpriced bar food dressed in elegance. I’d return for the drinks and the kindness, not the cuisine

We finally got to stop in and try! We ordered the pretzel bites as an appetizer and the prime rib sandwich as the entrée. The pretzels were crunchy outside, soft inside, and perfect salt. They were very oily however, only complaint on that. They were served with a “spucy queso” which really didn’t hand much flavor and NO spice at all unfortunately. The prime rib sandwich was honestly nothing to write home about… lots of bread, small amount of meat, horseradish sauce was pretty much just mayo, the “green chile” was actually poblanos and the au jus was flavorless. Our server was on top of everything, she was great!

The food was mediocre. The wait staff were attentive once we got their attention. The appetizer we got had velveta cheese in it??? Just why? If I’m going to a sit down restaurant I do not want processed cheese product. The salad I ordered was pretty good. I also ordered a small side of chicken and that was very flavorful. I needed it to get the feeling of plastic cheese out of my mouth.

Had my first date with my now wife here six years ago. Small charcuterie and some lovely drinks in a charming atmosphere. Went there tonight, had a soggy sandwich and burned fries, surrounded by TVs and loud intoxicated people. Not at all a bistro anymore, seemingly just a sports bar
