In addition to soups, they offer sandwiches and salads, making it a perfect spot for a light meal or a filling lunch. I love that you can either dine in or take your food home – super convenient for whatever your day calls for.
The highlight of my visit, though, was the service. Our waitress, Mery, was an absolute gem. She was not only polite but genuinely kind, making sure we had everything we needed. Her positive attitude truly made the experience memorable.
Whether you’re craving a cozy soup on a chilly day or just want to enjoy some comfort food, 2 Chef’s Souparee is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back soon to try more of their amazing soups!
They allow customers to sample any soups before purchasing which I would say is a huge plus.
The wraps and sandwiches are made to order so all items are fresh and very delicious. They are served with homemade potato chips and a pickle spear which is a nice touch, also the soups come with your choice of bread to enjoy with your soup.
I highly recommend the balsamic roasted portobello and vegetable wrap, it was divine!
Okay… this is an *edit* from my last review after another visit. Originally, I gave 5 Stars as I rounded up from 4.5… I still give it 4.5 Stars but this time I am rounding down.
The food I received on this visit was just as good as that of the first visit. Absolutely no complaints there. The folk were friendly even though they were swarmed with customers.
The benches were not clean between the slats.. but since mentioning this in my earlier/edited review, that has been taking cared of. So kudos for listening. (end *edit*)
I am a little bit embarrassed that I did not know about this place before now. My wife drags me to this shopping center quite often to visit TJ Maxx and the Home Goods store. We have even eaten at the Greek restaurant next door a time or two… but did not know about this Souparee. While waiting for my wife to finish up with the doc across the street I was searching for a place to have dinner and saw the high ratings on this place.
I forget which soup my wife ordered (there are many) but I did have a taste and although it was not very hot, it was really good. Nice flavors, generous sized bowl and served with some homemade sour dough.
I ordered the small (French Onion) soup with a half sandwich. My choice was a BLT and when my food came out, the onion soup was piping hot and very flavorful. My BLT was larger than expected. I guess the sour dough bread is much wider than a normal slice of bread so my half sandwich was almost the size of a regular sandwich. And most importantly…. the dang bacon was crispy!! The sandwich was also served with a pickle wedge and some homemade potato chips. The chips weren’t my favorite but we ended up eating all of them.
After enjoying our meal we took home a piece of their bread pudding… which was really good. I do not remember the price we paid for all of it but I do remember thinking at the time that it was quite fair. I marked this as 5 stars… and my true rating is 4 1/2 stars… but the experience was good enough to round up. Also… we found the folk that served us to be quite friendly.
