Got a and I kid you not BLACK bottomed BBQ chicken pizza and what was clearly a re-heated house pie. $50
This week I order a simple chicken and broccoli pizza and a cheese pie both large $50 I honestly dont know how they pulled this off but literally liquid I’m hoping ricotta cheese slime just covering the whole pizza dripping off like soup The broccoli looks a bit old. Whole pie had some strange yellow splotches throughout. Kinda sucks because the crust was perfect this time. Did not eat wasted $30 bucks.

I ordered from this place on Uber Eats. I tried to order half Hawaiian half plain but they made it half ham and the other half was pineapple. The pie was so soggy the bottom of the box was about to fall through. The pizza completely separated from the cheese and toppings and we couldn’t even eat it. It was a disaster. When I called to give them feedback the woman who answered put a man on the phone who immediately blamed the driver despite this obviously being a quality issue. First he said it was because the driver took too long to get here despite it being a 3 min drive, then he said they barely put any sauce on their pizza so it can’t be soggy, then finally he hung up on me. Terrible pizza and no accountability. Avoid this place when in Cairo!

The food is mostly edible if that’s your thing. I’ve tried a variety of things off the menu from pizza, to burgers, to wings and apps, and pastas. Not once have I ate anything that I’ve been like, yeah I’d eat that again. Also just don’t ever order the bacon bleu burger unless you like it covered in creamy salad dressing… it honestly might have even been ranch. I’d say save your money, there’s better pizza joints in the area… but that’s not even really true unless you go down to Catskill.

Calzones are delicious, pick your favorite toppings for inside, just a note the ones in photos are smalls! They are stuffed and filling, so order accordingly! Delicious to the last bite! Pizzas being brought out around us looked amazing!

I have been to this place 3 times at approximately the same time over the last week. I got the same thing all 3 times. 2 slices of pepperoni and a 20 oz bottle of iced tea. I have been charged 3 different prices. 1st time, $9.70. 2nd time, $10.26. 3rd time $11.35.
The 1st time it was a younger guy and the other 2 times it was a tall older bald man.
Honesty apparently isn’t on the menu here.

I was always a happy customer coming here for the past 5 summers while at camp and occasionally a stop on the way home in the winter! A few months ago, I called to place an order and something was wrong with connecting. I really wanted some boneless Thai Chili wings so I just drove over. Brian the owner said there was something wrong with the phone. The woman behind the counter told me their ovens in the back were also down so I could only order what was made in the pizza oven. Ok I said let me call my husband and see what he wants instead. This took less than 3 minutes. There was a different woman there and she said they weren’t taking anymore orders. I said well I was already here and I modified my order for them. She said no! Brian and the other woman refused to come back out! I honestly have never been treated this way. It was 6:30 at night! The pizza maker was still making pizza. I think this was extremely rude to a very loyal customer. I used to send everyone there from camp. Now I won’t go there at all or recommend! I think I deserve an apology!

The pizza was awesome and the service was great. Friendly atmosphere, but the bathrooms were discussing!. One bathroom wasn’t even working. I judge a place by their appearance. If the bathroom were that dirty then what does the kitchen look like? The area by the counter was well taken care of as well as the restaurant area. Pizzas were just the way we ordered them. Hawaiian pizza was fully loaded as was the pepperoni pizza. I will go back to have more food and check to see if the owner got my message, cause I did say something nicely. The woman that I spoke to was very nice and told me she was going to pass my comment to the owner

I ordered from this awful place tonight. When i walked in the lady behind the counter didnt say a word to me. I ordered fried dough ($4.50) sausage and peppers sub($8.00) eggplant parm sub ($10.95) and two slices of meat lovers ($7.00). This should have came to $32.89 but instead came to $39.50. While ringing up my order i noticed the lady ring up $11.95 twice,$5.50 and $7.00. I didnt think these prices were right but didnt say anything. When i got home i look at their google page (says it was updated last week) and sure enough the prices displayed are what i thought they were. So i call and ask how much each thing cost and was told all subs are $11.95, thats not what any menu says. She also admitted the fried dough is $4.50 but she charged me $5.50. I told her those arent the prices displayed on their google menu and she said she will “tell brian” Seems like she over charged me because you have to pay with cash and they dont give you a receipt. Based on the looks of this women its no surprise shes stealing from people. On top of all of that, the food was terrible. Its only a matter of time until they get run out of time. Mateos is 1000x better. Dont waste your money here
