I’ve visited Twistee Treat twice now, and my experiences were very different.
On my first visit, I ordered the Oreo Cookie Twistee, and it was packed with Oreos — creamy, flavorful, and made to perfection. It instantly became one of my favorite ice cream treats in the area.
However, my most recent visit on 10/29/25 was disappointing. As you can see in the photos, the one on the right (from my first visit) had way more Oreos compared to the new one, which barely had half as much. For the same price, I expected the same quality and consistency.
I really hope this was just an off day, because Twistee Treat has the potential to be amazing when done right.

Yummy!! I’ve been here twice so far. I’ve had the chocolate/vanilla swirl ice cream and the pina colda freeze. My sister has tried the butterscotch sundae both time’s. My friend got a pineapple milkshake. Everything was yummy! We’ll be going back! Fresh & tasty treats.

Always a great place to stop with the kids when we visit from out of town. They love the different varieties of cones as well as ice cream. Staff is always very friendly and we never have to wait very long to enjoy our delicious ice cream. Highly recommend.

I added one star because the ice cream is good but it’s expensive, especially when they can’t help fix a mistake.
I paid $10ish for a pint of ice cream but there was a miscommunication. We wanted cheesecake ice cream but they gave us cheesecake chunks. The cheesecake chunks are gross but we didn’t see it until we got home. I brought it back the next day to try and get it replaced but they wouldn’t. I’m disappointed we won’t be going back, I really liked the rootbeer malt, and my bf’s craving will go unsatisfied.

Always a great stop after the bounce house with my son! Twistee Treat in St. Pete is super friendly, fast, and the ice cream is always fresh. We’ve been coming here for a while and the service has been consistently awesome. Definitely one of our favorite spots! #StPete #FamilyFun #Spora

When arriving at twister treat I saw it was busier than a normal Monday night but I am happy customer and have plenty of patience to wait in line.However when ordering the brownie sundae, My father asked me to pick up another ice cream for my brother, so I wanted to wait so it didn’t melt. however it was 10:01 and they close at 10:30 one of the coworker lied to me on the night June 26 after I saw her texting and on the phone while other coworker were working very hard I felt betrayed by this twisty treat never come here again, however the brownie sundae ate!
