Easily one of the best and most genuine Italian restaurants in Montreal. They have a wide range of menu selection and you can rest assured that you will be satisfied regardless of what you decide to eat – the quality is excellent across the board, however I would recommend the veal chop among others.
The service was very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was cozy and true to its culture.
I often order pizza for takeout as well, although the all-dressed or rapini & sausage are far greater than other options (I am personally not a fan of the all-cheese pizza here).

Tonight we dined at Di Mena Restaurant as a group of four adults. From the very beginning, the experience was disappointing.
When the waiter came to take our drink order, one of the gentlemen asked for a beer and was told they had no beer available due to the Christmas parties. Not only is this unheard of for a high-end restaurant, but there was no apology whatsoever—and this lack of courtesy continued throughout the entire evening.
We ordered our food, which was acceptable but not at all up to the standard I remember Di Mena being known for. The quality was simply not what it once was.
I later asked to speak with the manager, who turned out to be the same waiter. I explained that we had made a reservation and had driven all the way from Laval, expecting a full dining experience—including drinks to accompany our meal. Once again, there was no apology, only the excuse that his order had not been delivered—during one of the busiest times of the year, which is hard to understand.
What was most disappointing is that nothing was offered to compensate for the inconvenience—not even a coffee or dessert.
Overall, I am extremely disappointed. This experience fell far below expectations, and I will be waiting a long time before considering a return. As a manager, he should be ashamed of his behavior and lack of

Expected better from a restaurant such as Di Menna. The pizza was too doughy and under cooked. The mussels weren’t fresh but the sauce was good. We saved some of the bread to dip in the sauce. Calamari was tasteless. Lamb was just ok. The hostess was very friendly and helpful.

Ok so they don’t list everything on the menu. I’m not sure why, but it’s just that way. So be sure to ask about dishes and see what they’ve got for ya.

Veal meatballs were almost as good as my mom’s.
Arancini balls were cooked so perfectly and ouie-gouie on the inside. Yum

Great place with great service. We tried calamari fritti, pizza with Italian sausage and rapini (which was garlicky and amazing and we will be coming back for more) and cannelloni with meat which was also very tasty with fresh cheese on top, with Syrah Sicilian wine that takes you back to Italy with only one sip. They give you fresh bread with butter on side and garlic bread in shape of pizza on top of everything.

Enjoyed the dinner here very much.Started with Polpette as an entree which were very tasty, but a little soft. My the main course was Pollo Parmagiana which was really good. The pizza is amazing!

We found this restaurant by chance and my husband and I are absolutely so glad we did. Not only is the atmosphere beautiful and very romantic (as well as calming and relaxing) the food was perfectly cooked. My husband was tempted to order a second plate of his order of short ribs to go but we were in a hurry to make it to see the Cirque du Soleil. Our waitress was wonderful. We were visiting from the states and before we headed back we made sure to have dinner there again. We even had the same waitress which we were thrilled with. She remembered us and even asked how the show was. This was our favorite place to eat during our trip to Montreal. Definitely check it out.
