Wow. Probably some of the best Greek food I’ve had outside of Greece.
We ordered the dips combo and the twisted combo, and the portions are huge. One platter could easily feed 3 very hungry people or 5 with normal appetites — and that’s coming from someone who already appreciates big servings.
We were a group of six, and two couples ordered two twisted combos. Even though all four of us had only eaten breakfast that day, we still couldn’t finish them and left with massive to-go boxes (see photos). If you’re coming with four hungry people and also plan to get starters, one platter is probably enough.
The pork sausage was the standout — insanely good — though I also really loved the tzatziki. I also appreciated that pita was only $1 each, so we could get plenty without having to ration it.
Service was incredible: friendly, warm, and hospitable in true Greek fashion. The family who owns it is from Crete.
No dakos though!

The food here tastes very authentic and flavorful — you can tell they put care into their recipes. Portions are generous and definitely worth the price. The place itself is spotless, which is always a plus.
Our waitress/bartender/server/porter (she seriously did it all!) was awesome — super friendly, attentive, and really kept things running smoothly. Great experience overall. I’ll definitely be back!

Off the charts with amazing Greek music. Superb waiter and waitress with incredible food. Best in NY. Also atmosphere is relaxed not high and snooty. Fantastic halloumi. Insanely fresh Greek salad with awesome tzatziki and the zucchini croquettes were mouth watering. For me as a Bifteki lover that was also juicy and tasty with a hint of beef/sausage flavor. Truly amazing Greek. No more going to Flushing or Astoria. They now have the Twisted Greek to look towards. Μπράβο!

I’ve eaten here a few times and have always loved it. My fiancée and I were pretty sure we found our new local Greek place! I got a gyro sandwich for takeout today, and found a couple of hairs in the sandwich. I would really like to continue coming here. Could you please make sure whoever is preparing the food is paying more attention/taking care to wear a hairnet? I usually wouldn’t say something if it was only 1 hair, but I found more than one.. My wife and I discovered Twisted Greek about a year ago and it quickly became our favorite Greek restaurant.
Try the Zucchini Croquettes and the eggplant dip. I also love the pork souvlaki platter. Generous portions and reasonably priced. We usually dine in but recently ordered through their website for pick up and it’s super easy with an apple pay option. Don’t miss out on this local gem.

Great experience! Their plates are beautifully presented, featuring a combination of fresh salad, your choice of meats, bread, and either fries or rice. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. Be sure to try the zucchini chips—they’re a must!

I’m in town for work and not much was open on the 4th of July of course. I found this place online and I must say it was EXCELLENT food! Everything was cooked perfectly and fresh ingredients with a lot of flavor is what I received. The owner was very friendly and welcoming too despite me being the last customer of the day on a holiday when I’m sure the staff just wants to be home with family. It was a great experience and I’d recommend you check them out if you want some top tier Greek food! The photo doesn’t do it justice on how flavorful everything was. Thanks again.

Tonight Wednesday June 18th 2025 We did take out from twisted Greek in Commack. The portions are huge, the food delicious, the meat tender and the pitas were awesome. We’re very happy with our dinner tonight. Would highly recommend this restaurant the only thing I would suggest is when you get a platter ask them to put the salad in a separate container as it is within the hot food in the takeout container. This way the salad will stay cold and the salad dressing will be contained. Otherwise they value for the price is excellent and the food quality delicious. Very helpful staff and they take coupons. Very enjoyable dinner tonight will order again!!!!
