Twist Bakery & Cafe was established in 2011 and we opened our Burlington location in 2019. We are proud to be a scratch kitchen rotating flavors with the season. We offer breakfast like pancakes made with our exclusive mix, lunch with sandwiches made on our house made bread and plenty of house-baked pastries, muffins, cookies and cupcakes to choose from to satisfy any sweet tooth! Fresh, natural ingredients take center stage in every dish, alongside organic coffee and tea sourced from local roasters. We are proud to be a safe place for those with food allergies or restrictions.

My sister and I stopped by for breakfast and ended up having a really nice time. The bakery was pretty spacious and comfortable, and everything we tried was really good and tasted fresh. While I do think it’s a bit overpriced considering the portion sizes, the quality makes up for it to some extent. The food was filling enough and nicely presented. Overall, a solid place that I’d come back to when I’m in the area.

Delicious food. This is a dedicated gluten-free restaurant.
The menu did not mention gf, guessing because the entire establishment is allergy friendly. This is a dedicated Gluten Free facility. Check out their website for their list of No-No ingredients.
Since it was our first time there, entering the establishment was a bit chaotic and confusing. The menu did not list gf options. When I asked if they carried gf options, I was told this was a dedicated gf facility! Nice, since I have celiac disease. So you order your items from the menu at the counter, they give you a number to place on your table, then bring the food to your table. The only thing I didn’t like was that they ask for a tip when ordering! Since when did people decide that placing your order at a counter constitutes a tip for service?!?
I ordered the breakfast tacos with a side of home fries. So delicious and the two breakfast tacos were more than enough! Their pico de gallo was homemade, and I’m pretty sure their corn tortillas were too-they sure tasted fresh! I was traveling, so it was nice to find this treasure!

I ordered the sunrise handheld and a raspberry mocha. The sandwich was good, might be better with a different bread option (I got the english muffin). None of the ingredients were over powering. The raspberry mocha was also good, the puree was a little strong (tart) but otherwise the espresso seemed to have a good bold flavor.

Very expensive for what it was. We got a couple sandwiches, a brownie caramel cookie, a lemon blueberry scone and the coconut carrot cake.
The sandwiches were good, but came with no sides, were small and cost $16+.
The scone and carrot cake were crazy sweet. Like the main flavor was sugar. Do not recommend. The carmel brownie cookie was fine.
Over all not a great experience for us. We do not plan to go back.

Love dedicated gluten free kitchen! My daughters both have celiac and hard to find good food options and restaurants. So wonderful to have a place where everything is GF. So many choices it was a hard to choose! Can’t wait to go back. Everything we tried was amazing. Ham and cheese pins wheels, cinnamon buns, and lots of pastries.
Open one in NH!!!

I love this place. I crave literally everything on the menu constantly. I sometimes come here without my girlfriend (please don’t tell her). Staff is great and always happy to see us. I love the spicy chicken salad and sandwich both are delicious and I just love their food. Their holiday treat boxes are so fun my personal favorite is the Christmas it was such a steal and my girlfriend and I devoured the whole box in a few days. They so beyond great. Love coming here!

We eat here regularly. The food is always delicious and top notch. The staff is very kind and willing to answer any questions you may have about additional dietary restrictions. My only complaint would be if you order delivery or take out, they often forget chips. Otherwise, very good and wonderful to have a safe place to eat.

Entirely gluten free bakery!! They have various desserts and pastries, breakfast, and lunch options! I am a big fan of their french toast breakfast. They have seasonal items too, which is always nice to be able to try new and exciting gluten free things! I do not enjoy the bulkie roll, but that’s just my personal preference. One of my favorites that they have during the fall is their pumpkin chocolate chip bundt cake! It’s so so good. There was also a time where they had vegan + gluten free chocolate chip muffins that my girlfriend and I absolutely loved, but sadly they never brought those back! Overall, there’s too many delicious treats to list in a single review, so you’ll just have to go and try for yourself!

Their Karma coffee is just phenomenal! I highly recommend the decaf espresso drinks. Somehow they’re just REALLy good.
I also appreciate that they have an accessible toilet. The one bathroom is super small but they do have an accessible one!
